I'm willing to bet all my Fight money and GooteckShimmy's online trophies that you were using the wrong version if you didn't even know which is the one to use for invincibility.

This isnt the right way to determine which move is better. By this logic Dhalsim would lose to everyone , does that mean he has bad buttons?

If you can tell which character , perhaps you can get some help. Ryu has a 3 frame startup Jab , so if you and any other character do it at the exact same time it would at worst trade. Or win because some characters have a 4 frame startup jab.

His MP is also very good as a frame trap tool up close.

You cant judge a move by just doing it at the same time and say this ones better. Range and hitbox is an important factor. Check out this video.

This. If the match is laggy , why not just leave after the the first few seconds or the first round. Why wait until you know you lost and then RQ.

Still really dig this look for Ryu which shows his battle, or aftermath, with the Satsui No Hado and those stages look great! Dictator looks cool too.

Man that Ryu in black pants and the weird pattern on his arm looks straight out of CvS2 artwork.
Edit: There's something about a Psycho Suit for Bison there, stupid Kanji stopping me from being able to read a whole sentence :(

Page 49 is full of awesome stuff. What's this book included with again? Volcanic edition?

We could have an OP that's updated with a growing list of repeat offenders. I've never made a thread, and I just wanted to know what you all think. I guess I just needed to get that off of my chest. In the meantime, I'll start editing the video of the match that spurned this so I can post it, whether it be here or in a new thread.

Yup. It comes with this hardcover book thats 64pages along with a OVA DVD, swappable sleeve for your game that shows the cover as "The Rebirth of Nash", 16 index cards and a stand for all the characters and their moves with Bengus artwork so you can stand them up on the table while you're playing and have all the specials in front of you lol. That plus 16 EX colors, Dictator's battle costume and 1000 Zenny.

Oh and the "Hot" edition of the game so you get Hot Ryu along with Chun Li and Cammy's battle costumes plus 17 exclusive titles...

Last 2 pages from me including a page from the Koichi Sugiyama (Producer) Takayuki Nakayama (Director) interview and...not sure what that last page is but Shoryuken speculated that in the bottom right corner...that it could be Goutetsu, who is Gouken and Akuma's master?

What a cool looking Bison. Why didn't they include that level as well? It's already made.
 
things they could do to make survival infinitely less shitty:

set it on one stage and leave it on that one stage, skip character intros automatically, dramatically reduce loading

if it would load in the next shit while you're choosing a power up and skip all the nonsense it would make the experience slightly less infuriating
 
Here is my confessional. I just quit for the first time in the middle of a match against a Ken player from Mexico. Lag was fucking horrendous. I've played out plenty of laggy matches which had the shaky look. But this was teleport city and both of us had done something like 20% damage to each other after 30 seconds or so in the 1st round and I was like "fuck this shit" and closed the game. I'd do it again if I experience something as bad next time. But if they start punishing quitters, I'll probably play it out because my points are too precious to me lol.

BTW, I finally grinded enough to reach Super Silver(3k or more) and want to take a break from rank. Does anybody want to play a Ryu? Preferably a FT5? CFN is Rice_Eater
