Okay, guys. Real talk time. I just had a GREAT match against a Rashid that was highly ranked and was on a nine win streak. I'm not familiar with the matchup, but I gave it my best.
He bopped me first round, and the fight grew closer and more tense as the match progressed. It was one of those matches where you're impressed both with how well you and your opponent are doing.
Finally, he botched an eagle splike, and I punished him for the win!
...
And then he quit on me. I was SO disappointed. Not because of points, not because I've never been quit on before, but because I was having such a good time and I thought the other player was too. I was disappointed in myself for not seeing it coming, and that's the saddest part of all: that we're dealing with an online ecosystem where we HAVE to train ourselves to see the quits coming.
So, I propose we do something about this. I propose we make a thread specifically for posting recorded evidence of rage quitters. Not only can it be a place for entertainment and shared catharsis, but also a hub for the names of the individuals to watch out for in the wild west of ranked mode.
We could have an OP that's updated with a growing list of repeat offenders. I've never made a thread, and I just wanted to know what you all think. I guess I just needed to get that off of my chest. In the meantime, I'll start editing the video of the match that spurned this so I can post it, whether it be here or in a new thread.
