Testing out the Xbox 360/Xbone to PS4 Brook Converter, I kind of like using the Elite controller. The d-pad is probably better than the Mad Catz Fightpad Pro.

All morning, the endless sea of Ryu. I have very literally played nothing but Ryu players all morning.

What's worse is when they happen to start lagging during round two and you can't really do anything.

People say she's trolling, but in my honest opinion she gets away with her bullshit by saying she's trolling, so I don't like her. Only visited her stream once to see what all the fuzz was about: Boobs, covering half the screen with herself and using a well-known porn site's font for her logo.
Have you ever seen her talking outside of her stream persona? She just plays up the dumb thing for views.

It's a cheat trainer that popped up. You can turn on one hit kills, regenerating health and other similar hacks.

And not surprisingly, the game disconnected after the first round, due to the desynchronization resulting from one player's game running way differently from the other player's game. Most likely, the other player was still playing the first round when the game disconnected. This is why you don't really have to worry about this kind of cheats online.

Probably a pc player using a hack/trainer that changes the games memory/code to one-hit kill opponents.

no idea, it's either a joke or a hack.

oh boy. No bueno

Oh, ok :P

Hmm... I'm not entirely convinced. Like why would they cover up the name of the person supposedly cheating?

I figured the guy using the trainer posted it.

Had a 14-win streak, but they were certainly much better than me, so that's probably not the only way they got there.

"not the only"? Rage quitting is a huge problem, but you probably shouldn't assume that's what people are doing.

I'm terrible at street fighter and I've still had double digit win streaks. I've seen pro players get over a hundred. Even with rage quits you still have to actually win matches to get to 6100.

Trainers have been out for around a week now, I think. If they were able to be used consistently online I think you'd be seeing a LOT more shit about them going around.

I'm sure someone here linked a vid to a YT dude using a tool for OHK just for Survival to get colours. I don't mind that, don't wanna see this shit in mp though.

*gulp*

Nope, don't need to. There are plenty of ways to play dumb while being entertaining, just look at good comedians. In the end she's profiting off of sexualizing her channel, so I don't care whether she says she's trolling or not, I wish I could get away with BS and just say "Hey it was a prank!".

Several Birdie matches on Casual mode.

I think Birdie is a terrible match up for FANG. I have won every match with him. It's crazy how stupid his universal Anti-Air/Cross up is and having to remind myself that after playing Charlie.

What's that, his cr mp? It loses to every cross up lk.

I absolutely can't play when there's any palpable latency with this rollback stuff. Still having issues vs PC gamers with 5 bar connections. All matches are frustrating because of what amounts to safe pressure, but nothing is worse than online Gief. Interrupt my block string with a super that lands, sure why not. Combo into 720 super? Sure why not

maybe someone should let her know you don't approve

Hey 16-bit. Watched your match footage. Good stuff. Here's a few things to work on.

-You hold down back way too much for a character that doesn't have a charge move. Going on defense like that and throwing out random CR. Normals isn't great. The longer you are holding db, the longer of an opportunity your opponent has to open you up.

-Laura has a great walk speed, use it! Most of your footsie exchanges occur without you ever walking forward or backwards. Your v-skill can help you tremendously in this regard as well. Ken's normals don't have the largest range, so you can actually bait out a few normals and counter. Also, Laura has one of the better long range CC's, St. HK. Incorporate that more. Use that to confirm more of her command grabs.

-Learn some of Laura's safe jump ranges. You don't wanna be giving up free hits on jump-ins, but you already knew that.

I think addressing some of these points will show an immediate improvement to your game

Thanks a lot for the tips. I really appreciate it and will incorporate them into my game.

Lol you can tell Spooky is a lot happier and more energetic now that the stream audio is working as intended.

the guy is a true tech nerd he cares about his AV lol! people kept challenging him in chat on av stuff and he stopped commentating the match to talking about the audio stuff when probably half the stream doesn't even hear/see a difference. lmao

That would get reported so fast. I don't see it being a huge issue unless, of course, it took Capcom forever to patch out.

If I could cheese the shit out of the Survival modes on PS4 I'd do it in a heartbeat. I'm stuck on 4 completed Normals with like 20+ failures in the 26-30 rounds. Its frustrating.

Yeah you're right. I shall not worry.

Mhmm, survival blows.

I'm gonna have to consider doing that shit jeez.

Using this online is awful though.

Nah, it's OK. I was just stating my opinion on her from what I've seen and read. If I had to let everyone know that I don't approve of whatever little thing they do I wouldn't be able to enjoy life.

Back to topic: I enjoy seeing Laura get destroyed, I can't deal with her mixups :(

How do you think rage-quitting and cheating will be dealt with accordingly? Consider the future of online SFV doomed if they don't crack down on this behaviour.

Well, cheating will most definitely result in a ban.

Rage-quitting on the other hand, I personally think they're not going to risk doing something like banning the reported people, maybe prevent them from playing online for a month or something.

They're most likely going to implement a punishment scenario where disconnecting will lead to a loss of points that's greater than just regularly losing a match. So if you keep disconnecting, eventually even the points you get from wininng will start to get nullified.

That's what that post was saying and you disagreed with lol

Aww snap, thought you were talking about just RQers. Sorry about that.

Capcom can't really patch this out, as it is likely a cheat involving the direct memory manipulation of the game while it is running (using something like Cheat Engine). They would have to create specific tools in order to detect such manipulations, or better yet just add VAC support to the PC version of SFV.

However, as I noted above, this is not something that is usable online. If a player is dumb enough to attempt this, it will simply result in the games disconnecting due to them going completely out of sync, as the cheat will only work on the cheater's computer, while the attack would simply do normal damage on the other person's computer / console.
