Uncharted 4 delayed two weeks to May 10

Lol remember when they would brag about never delaying games.
Anyways, whatevs it'll give me time to play around with dark souls.

LOL if only it was that easy. Sony MS can't afford to upset retailers. Who are ultimately marketing their games for them.
 
Good: More time to play games.

Bad: Another delay.

I'm hoping for more UC4 weekends from now until launch. I need to level up more.
 
Take your time, make it the absolute best it can be Naughty Dog. And keep giving us multiplayer betas to play in the meantime!
 
Kind of seems like a dumb reason.
If the game sells out on day 1 because there weren't enough copies, people can buy it digitally, or just wait a week or two until more copies ship.
So why delay the game for every one? Sounds like an excuse. Maybe they just didn't want to launch same month as Dark Souls 3 and Quantum Break or something.
 
The interesting part is that they're confirming it going gold this month, but assert they need the extra time to press disks. When was the last time a game was delayed with this excuse?
 
Could be multiple reasons. Breathing room from for R&C, shipment to global distributors (warehouse stock sku's) etc. I'm not complaining, DSIII is getting more time so, good news?

Fuck sake ND. Just get it right and stop continuously incrementally delaying it. It's like they're disorganised and just can't keep to schedules. At least a simultaneous world wide release is good, but they could have thought about that one of the other 3 times they delayed the damn game.
 
Come on. The delays are getting ridicules. I started planning my time off for it. I guess shame on me for planning time off around a game release :/

A two week delay just seems pointless and just seems to piss off people for no foreseen benefit.
 
Just delay it to November in one swoop and get it over with.


I'm fine with the delay. I've got Quantum Break and Dark Souls 3 in April, so I'm in no rush.

The repeated "minor" delays give me the impression the game isn't ready, but Sony is determined to brute force it to the finish line. And of course ND is probably pushing back.

I mean, I still remember the 1UP story from after UC3 where Druckmann said the game was straight up broken like a day(?!) before launch.
