It would be interesting to see if there are more new accounts in these types of threads.
When she was first created she was specifically created as "underaged" by /pol/ because they wanted to piss off as many people as possible. It's since been retconned to be of age.
My main issue with Nintendo of America is how they've been handling the localization of Wii U, 3DS and the VC.
No, this is not about censorship, I couldn't care less about it. But then you see NoA making some horrible marketing choices like releasing games months after NoE and NoJ and not even bothering to promote them, it's hard to support that. The Virtual Console is another thing that pisses me off, compare our VC to Europe and Japan and then tell me what you think.

Its funny. I remember, at one point, the claim was that this was about honesty in game journalism. Sure, it came years after Jeff Gertsman (sp?) got fired from Gamespot for giving Kane and Lynch a bad review, but still. Then, you scratch past the surface and you find what its really all about. *sigh*

Additionally, it would be nice that for once, a large seething mass like this actually did something good, like I dont know, pool their vast amounts of free time and energy to solve world hunger, global warming, stop ISIS, etc. You know, instead of being the radiant abyss that it is.

hmm, well learning about it from this thread i just think it's kind of unusual for someone who has talked publicly about relaxing cp laws and age of consent to be with Nintendo since when i think of Nintendo, i think of family and kids having fun with video games. i don't think there's enough for a firing though.

Honestly it was only a matter of time until something like this happened. She's been a huge issue for quite a while. Not saying that I agree or disagree with anything she's been advocating, I just think it's really unprofessional of her to be talking about this stuff through her open social media channels while working for a company with a serious family-friendly image to keep up. When you work for a company like that, especially in a high-profile public-facing position such as hers, you're representing them everywhere you go and with everything you do. If you want to talk about politics or discuss some kind of controversial topic, you need to keep it private so you don't accidentally misrepresent your company. It's just asking for stuff like this to happen.

I don't know if you really know how localization works, but there's a lot more effort involved in the localization process than just changing the language of the game. It takes months and the game could have been well and done before then.
