Why do they keep using different nomenclature for concepts? They make it super confusing.

I have bank, and I saw that the three were unlocked within bank but now I don't know what to do. I added Omega Ruby to my Global link and have no idea how to get these three.

What am I supposed to do??

For all that I love about Pokemon, they really make getting special Pokemon unnecessarily confusing.

EDIT: OH okay you need to use Pokemon link before loading your game.

Man, there are are way too many ways to get Pokemon. They really need to streamline it.
 
So I got the Celebi Nintendo is giving away and when I battle with her, she keeps falling asleep by herself and none of her attacks are working. Anybody that's a bigger Pokemon fan than I know why this is the case? I'm a little confused.

It's LVL 100 so you need all 8 badges so it will obey you.

Just figured it out. They really need to streamline the number of ways you can obtain Pokemon outside of the game. It's all over the place.

Starting in Gen VI, all legendary Pokemon (this may also extend to any gift Pokemon) are guaranteed to have at least 3 Perfect IVs.
 
I can't believe I'm getting into Pokemon this late in life. I was too cool for that shit back in the 90s, but still dabbled in my little brother's games on the OG Gameboy.

My Gamestop still had Mew today. Been playing some Pokemon X that I've had since that free giveaway.
 
quick question: does the mew code works only once? Can I redeem on different copies such as Pokemon Y, X, AS, OR?

Also, how can I use the pokemon bank? It's been a while since I played a pokemon game, I started pokemon Y yesterday as my first ds/3ds pokemon game

There's a grace period, after which your Pokemon are deleted. No one is actually sure how long the grace period is though (or really even if they'll ever actually delete anything), as there are (as far as I know) no reported cases of people actually losing Pokemon due to a lapsed subscription.
 
Damn, I just got back into pokemon since getting yellow, only ever got 2 badges in Y but plan to start again when I'm done with yellow, and signed up to pokemon bank. Missed out on Mew... If anyone has a spare pal code that would be amazing.

Can I get that regi pokemon with the bank and pokemon Y?

I seen some on reddit claming it happened to them. It probably does happen but very rarely. 1000s of boxed Pokemon only adds up to kilobytes of data.

Volcanion isn't available in the west yet and Hoopa isn't a part of this year of mythical distribution yet, so there's both of those to get.

The mythicals in this distribution does not include Gen 6 mythicals. They might distribute it later but right now there's no info on that.
 
I'm thinking of buying ORAS and now I wish I got a Mew code. Oh well. Maybe the Gen 1 Mew glitch will be Bankable and I can get one that way.

This year will be good for building up the legendary collection, the only collecting I like doing.

Before I do any of that though, does Bank keep your account even if you used the trial then let it expire?

Edit: just read above. Only one way to find out I suppose, and I probably kept the good stuff in Y.

I don't think there's a trial anymore.

Fans can download and use Pokémon Bank and Poké Transporter for free for 30 days as long as it is downloaded and activated prior to the end dates shown below. Please see below for details for your area:

Japan trial period: January 22, 2014 @ 6:00 JST to February 21, 2014 @ 23:59 JST
European trial period: February 4, 2014 @ 10:00 CET to March 14, 2014 @ 23:59 CET
US, Canada, Mexico and Brazil: February 5, 2014 @ 9:00am PST to March 14, 2014 @ 11:59pm PST

New Western Serial Code distribution for the Legendary Birds with their HAs. You can redeem the codes from the 15th and the distribution locations are listed below. Only PAL distributions have been announced for now but a NA distribution is likely. Further PAL distributions are also very likely. Don't think this deserves it's own thread but I do know that many don't check the Pokémon threads in Community so I thought I'd post this here.

Belgium: FACTS Comic Con in Ghent, Belgium on April 2nd & 3rd.
Czech Republic:
- Codes hidden on the website, www.mojenintendo.cz, between 18th March and 21st March or until they run out.
- Second batch of codes were added on the 21st.
- Correctly answer one of five quiz questions on NBase.cz on March 18th and 19th.
-Send a picture of personally created artwork featuring the Legendary birds to info@nbase.cz from March 18th until supplies run out.

Quick question. If starting XY or ORAS from scratch, how far in do you need to be to get Celebi from Mystery Gift? The first pokemon center you get to?

Had sold my 3DS XL previously and all my games, just today got a new one and rebuying Y next payday (next Thursday, aka the final day for Celebi).

I'm pretty sure you can get the actual Mystery Gift before you even start the game. Actually getting the Pokemon in game isn't happening until you get to a Pokemon Center, though.
