They have talked a tiny bit about 4th wave ships. No dates or prices yet.
A smaller 2 man mining ship(was officially brought up on friday), The Buccaneer a pirate interceptor, the Prowler another pirate/boarding craft, and The Polaris a corvette battle ship (smaller than Javelin/idris)
Anything else I am missing?
The interesting part of this (to me at least) is that it's an RSI ship. RSI to my knowledge hadn't really gotten a military contract outside of their super cap ships and carriers. Given this thing is supposedly smaller than a Carrack, it's by no means in that family of ships and would be their first - and thus a "new" ship historically speaking vs one of the aging ships like the Idris... Unless they retcon the lore, which is always possible.
It'll be interesting to see what they price it at. Given the smaller size, and most likely singular focus (combat) vs something stupidly modular like the Endeavor, I don't see it being extremely expensive. Assuming it isn't outlandishly priced, it could very well become the go-to ship for mid-tier group play. It'd be a bit too unwieldy for efficient solo play, but far easier to crew and field than an Idris or Javelin. It'd plug the hole in the combat side of things in that respect. Right now we jump from the Retaliator and Constellation - ships without any real staying power - to the massive Idris. Sure there's the Carrack between them, but that's not really a ship designed for combat - certainly not something you'd want to bring to the front lines.
All that said, concept aside, I can't say I expect it in game any time soon. They have lots of large ships on their plates right now and each of them takes far more effort to complete than the smaller craft.
