Why did the costume's eyes narrow and move? That part seemed too cartoonish. Real fabric doesn't move like that. Is there an explanation.

They're mechanical, possibly camera lenses.

There's a realistic minimizing casualties to keeping a full scale invasion of two cities down to fatalities in the thousands. And a completely unrealistic minimizing fatalities when you keep it under 100. Especially when you have two humans that shoot a bow and arrow and regular fire arms on your team.

The battle of New York wasn't a full scale invasion. They kept it contained to a few blocks.

Trailer was total hype for me. Absolute fan of Black Panther and I'm in the camp that likes the new Spider-Man costume and reveal. The new costume gets approval from me. Has a lot of nice cosmetic changes that differentiate it from past film depictions of the character, and I'm a huge fan of the animated/mechanical eyes.

That said, I hope I'm not too late with this pic :v :

Haven't seen any of the TASM films but from what I saw of pics/trailers in the first film I actually did like the yellow eyes. Was a bit disappointed when I saw TASM2 change them out for the traditional white eyes.
