Just showed the trailer to my wife and when the prison came out of the ocean she asked if Aquaman was in it. I don't know if I'm begin trolled or what but this has to be grounds for divorce, right?

Because this is the sequel to Winter Soldier. A movie I like.

The better question is why folks like you become so reactionary, and start catching feelings over posts like that. Stop attaching your emotions to fictional properties to such a degree.

I love Spider-Man.

I hate what he's been made to endure.
I totally understand what you mean, at least they don't screw up like DC did. Seeing how DC screw up Superman in Mos and what is shown of batman vs Superman is painful.

Wait, this is total garbage:

There's no way the Chitauri invasion ONLY caused 18 billion in damages and only killed 74 people.

2 billion and 23 dead? No fucking way, a shit ton of people died.

Oh come on.
Wow, I just realized this now.

I like her. If you do shoot me a PM.

They minimized casualties when the world faced imminent doom.

Better?
Eh, it will depend entirely on the context of the film and how the argument for the accords is presented. If it's just "bad shit from past films" then it still falls apart. Hell, they don't even need the accords, just ban Thor and space shit from the planet. His fault for about half of it, the other half is on Stark.

Just rewatched the trailer and I kinda understand what people mean about the voice now. Dude does not look like a 17 year old in a suit, so his voice is a little surprising.

Minimalist suit design is sick tho

Huh.

I'd appreciate the Spiderman appearance more if he didn't look so crappy. I feel like the old Tobey Maguire movies looked a lot better than that. Maybe it's just because I haven't seen them in a long time. Still... damp squib.
Apparently anyone who dislikes this new Spidey outfit is a "fool" by some in this thread.

You and me, we're fools.

Still not very excited for this - I find the plot just totally uninteresting (and so much of it is spoiled from the trailers anyways.) The Spidey reveal was neat, but just adds to the extent to which it feels overstuffed (tossing in Black Panther and Spiderman both.)

My daughter is going to drag me to it, though.

Wanda straight up hates Iron Man, why would she switch sides lol

Hated, not hates. She used to hate the Avengers enough to join Ultron.

Maybe she falls in love with The Vision. Maybe she has a change of heart and decides she doesn't want something to happen again like it did to her home in Sokovia and if there was some governmental oversight, none of that would have happened. The Avengers wouldn't have taken the task of protecting the world by themselves and ended up creating their own enemy. Maybe her own powers grow out of control and become something she begins to fear, which makes her fear the abilities of others and their own ability to control them.

A lot of people must have died on those helicarriers..but maybe it's only counting civilian casualties and the Hydra crew and the SHIELD personnel that died were considered combatants?

Sorry but I'm not going to sit while you try to blame Hulks rampage and Winter Soldier stuff on my man Stark.

I doubt the VO in the trailer is actually played over that sequence. It should not feel so weird in the film. I like the Spidey reveal but the tone of his voice at that moment is strange and does not seem to fit with the serious look of the mask.

The Hawkeye/Antman bit is my favorite part of the trailer.

I still think the numbers are BS but I seem to remember the helicarriers being unmanned. I could be wrong though.

Hulks rampage is on Thor. If he just took care of Loki the scepter wouldn't have been on Earth, and Avengers 1 would be avoided, and the twins wouldn't exist. Earth was better without him.

I have to say I'm really surprised at how split the reactions seem to be about Spidey's costume. It strikes me as a really natural evolution from the character's previous films. I get disliking the general MCU "add needless lines and layers" approach to costume design, especially when applied to something as iconic and simple as Spider-Man's costume, but generally speaking I think it's the slickest looking of the bunch. Ditching the raised webbing definitely helps.

What about his second rampage, in AoU? That's on Wanda. Though according to the movie Wanda/Pietro are the result of Hydra experimenting with the scepter too. So, back to Thor I guess? :P

ya'll ain't ready for the post credits hype scene

Thor got his ass whopped in the first Avengers by Iron Man so why exactly would this scene happen? Also I shudder to think of Chris Hemsworth's Thor trying to sound badass and intimidating. Tony will most likely burst out laughing.

great trailer. Spider man looks like a video game though.
