How did Spider-Man managed to lift Cap's shield?
You're confusing it with Thor's hammer, to my supreme delight.
If not, yo spidey strong af
Maybe we should wait to judge until after we've heard him say more than two words
I really doubt it:

I can't be the only one who thought Spider-Man looked like a cartoon and sounded like a 14 year old kid.

Trailer already at 11 million views damn.
I wonder who will be on Tony's team at the end? Rhodes seems to be taken out for the rest of the conflict, Black Widow probably switched sides, Black Panther 99% sure doesn't care about Tony's reasoning for fighting, Vision could probably be easily swayed out either side and Spiderman.switched sides on the original comic
superior spider man costume, this new one is so disappointing. Looks like a Halloween costume from walmart.

Are you sure it didn't sound like 15 year old?I can't be the only one who thought Spider-Man looked like a cartoon and sounded like a 14 year old kid.
I hope the Underoos line is a trailer only thing. And is nobody else bothered by the fact that it appears Tony has Spidey waiting in the shadows for the "BIG REVEAL"? Like Spidey is Tony's lap dog. I hope it's just the trailer and Spidey is acting on his own accord.
I think the problem people are having (and I understand it) is that there's a disconnect between the voice and the manly looking character we're seeing on screen. He looks somewhat big and buff for having such a childish voice.
That fight is likely halfway through the movie at most, which means there'll be plenty of room for growth. Really, it makes sense for him to be a 'lap dog' for his introduction -- he's a teenage nerd, and Stark is probably as close to a god as it gets for him. That he would be concerned first and foremost with doing whatever makes Tony happy would be pretty standard teen behavior.
I hate talking about 'arcs', especially based on a preview and about a character that isn't a focus for the movie, but there's a really nice one built in right there if Spider-man were to grow from adoring, starstruck teen at operating Tony's beck and call to a self-contained superhero aligned with Cap and focused on the ultimate pursuit of justice.
On a different note, I like that the costume is fucking cheesy. I don't know why. There's a blunt naivete to it. It's like Captain America's in the first Avengers, except not completely fucking terrible.
Is watching the trailer going to spoil anything good? I want to see Spidey, but don't want the best parts of the movie spoiled for me before.![]()
Also, is no one mentioning that Witch had Vision on his knees? I haven't read through all 33 pages of this thread so SIAP.
I wonder if the problem is that all the voices for Spidey have been adults.
Now we actually get a teen playing a teen Spidey
Guess what? This is what a teenage superhero sounds like.
You can't sell the kid hero-adult hero dynamic Spiderman has with the Marvel universe at large more accurately than that

Two answers.
I don't watch many trailers (for movies) so the bar isn't very high. This is the best Super Hero movie trailer i've seen.
Stark has some sort of initiative for smart kids for urban city schools, so I imagine that's how him and Peter meet. To which he then idolises Stark and joins his side. That would be very interesting. You think both of them pay Peter a visit to try to get him on their sides, but Iron Man wins out eventually? Or they discover him when they're still together and go visit him together?
What homemade costume.
There isn't a homemade costume so far as anyone knows. Just this one. Because he's already Spider-Man.
Those might simply be the lenses before they modified them for the costume. Same with the fabric. Easy to be cryptic when you're looking at test stuff instead of final product.
"There is a young kid [already] running around New York City in a homemade version of the Spider-Man costume in the MCU, you just dont know it yet," he said, laughing.
