People in Dark Zone
This is good, but you need a few more people creeping around trying to hide behind crates when they can quite clearly be seen and the "I don't give a f*ck" agent who runs through the middle of everyone without a thought.

Up to level 8 now. Game is infinitely more fun when you're playing with friends. The combat really shines when you are talking and working together. Bosses especially become a lot less bullet-spongey when you can use flanking tactics.
Game has an addictive flow where it seems like you are constantly bombarded with new missions/events/sidemssions and unlocks/loot. I actually think the game could do with less lootable-objects in the world though. Too many bags to loot for 1 soda or 1 energybar.

Yeah, it's an on-going thing around here. Red Panda gifs a plenty.
For the most part it's seems like a solid 30 for me. The only time I felt a drop was during the napalm production plant mission, where shit was exploding all over the place and tons of enemies were rushing us. Fully expected that to happen though, it was nuts.
People in Dark Zone
I was playing with a friend of mine in the DZ, the two of us were behind cover waiting for the heli to land... there was NOONE in sight! As soon as the heli lands like 10 guys showed up from the shadows, attached their loot bag... and everyone slowly backed away into the shadows again.

They are easy enough to solo. If you are in the right lvl area

And reposting the question:
Does anybody know how to check if I've got the season pass? I've bought the gold edition but the game doesnt show "gold" anywhere and I dont see any references to the specific version nor the season pass.

I havent been in the dark zone yet. Are other players highlighted or are they hidden until you're in close proximity or detect them via scan? I would imagine they don't show up until you detect them
Do you have it on Steam or Uplay?
Nope, only if you aim at the them it says "non hostile"
Rogue agents are highlighted on both the map and visually

Level 30 + 100% of Story, Side Missions & Encounters completed. Haven't got half the gear others around similar play times in this thread have so I must be missing a few things that I should be doing but oh well. I have done the two dailies on Hard for today but haven't attempted the challenge mode one. Also haven't spend any time in DZ at 30 yet so maybe that's the difference.

Players only really show up when they've gone rogue and a manhunt is on.
Any other time, they just have a regular white name tag above their name. If they are hidden behind an object you have no idea.
Wow man, that's some serious dedication.
Question about daily missions though. Do those only show up when you've beaten the main game, and where do you get these?
Uplay, I know how to check in steam but got no clue how to do it on Uplay.
I love those moments so much! Especially at night and if there's a light fog in the air and the spot lights set the perfect atmosphere for sneakiness!
Click the game, to the left should be like Overview, Achievements, etc. Toward the bottom is DLC. Click it, should say Owned on any that are registered.

I also only have 4 more side missions to do and I am 100% done...

They showed up for me as soon as I was 30, which was before I had finished all the missions. They just highlight on the map, little ring around them. Take not of the difficulty which they say gives rewards, cause right now 2/3 give rewards for hard and one of them rewards challenge mode. Unfortunately they are literally just the same story missions you've been doing on rotation.

Keep in mind I haven't done all the phones and things like that, just all the side missions and encounters. Still was a lot though.

Were you soloing it? I know if your in a group and get dc, it automatically puts you back in thah same group in the mission.
I got DC on the same mission yesterday but when I reconnected, it placed me back in my group with the same guys I was with in the mission just where I left off...

So I've been playing this for a while, reached level 12, I'm enjoying the game.. but not really enjoying it and here's why:
The shotguns. I judge a game by its shotguns and this one probably has the most underwhelming shotguns I've ever used in a video game.
An enemy is about to die, I get close and personal, blast one right in his face.. and he just collapses in his place. This is not how shotguns work, this just makes them so unsatisfying to use. There's no oomph, no rhyme, and I don't know if I can continue on.

Is it technically possible to equip high tech gear in every slot? I was once a destiny player and bungie limited players to one exotic gear per slot, outside of the class based item that is.
Anyone else on Windows 10 getting the beeping sound + lagging mouse + disconnected mouse bug? It seems to be tied to uplay, the latest windows 10 update, and/or the xbox one wireless controller.

I love the "defiler" shotgun as a sidearm! Haven't come across another shotgun for sidearm spot though, are there any?

When it comes to play time that took way longer than it did in Destiny so I won't. Also I am still playing it for now. Wanna do more Dark Zone and some hard missions. Another week and I might be done with it but we will see.
Should be possible, yeah.
Maybe once you get a beast/yellow one at lvl 30 w/ crazy stats they'll feel satisfying and worth centering your build around. That's what I'm hoping.

I very much doubt that, it's just the way enemies react to a shotgun blast.. they don't. Killing an enemy with a shotgun is the same as killing them with a pistol, and that's just so wrong.
This is how every play session goes:
"Hm, I should finish a couple of missions so I can keep leveling up. But let me just stop by the DZ vendor to see what they have in stock."
5 hours later....
"Welp I guess I should leave the DZ and start doing some missions. Wait, how is it 2 am? Oh well, no missions tonight."
DZ is so much fun, and I got some pretty sweet loot. My DPS nearly doubled without me gaining a single level.
"Hm, I should finish a couple of missions so I can keep leveling up. But let me just stop by the DZ vendor to see what they have in stock."

"Welp I guess I should leave the DZ and start doing some missions. Wait, how is it 2 am? Oh well, no missions tonight."

I do agree there's pretty much zero oomph to them.

My mind tells me the 7K DPS, but surely DMG would be better?

You go for the one with higher DPS.
The more damage you can do in the same amount of time, in this case a second, the better.
That moment when you realize he could just leave you to die and take everything you were going to extract...but instead he pulls you back to your feet. Glorious.

There's an Echo in Chelsea across from Camp Hudson Hub to the East I can't seem to get to. It looks like it's in a building, but no entrances on that block on ground or roof level. Is it something that opens up in a mission later on?
