Can you point me to the posters being as wildly racist as Trump? Can you point me to the magical world where any of the posters here have as much sway and media attention as Trump? Or at least point me to the alternate universe where black people have as much power as white people in terms of racial prejudices and the power it holds?

Go on. I'll wait!

With my post I didn't meant the posters in neogaf of course. Isn't Obama the most powerful person in the world? and he is black.

Some woman on a loudspeaker yelling "I'm not voting for anyone. Bernie isn't going to come down here and protect me from this racist". Some insanity right here.

This is some low grade troll shit, but one black person in power (who's routinely shit on by his peers) isn't proof of shit.

For days/weeks now, my Facebook has been spammed with people encouraging people to not let Trump into Chicago to speak. In addition, tons of people RSVP'd to his event with plans to not go (they, probably incorrectly, were hoping that the RSVP'd spots would be saved for them and he'd be speaking to an empty room). I'm in down-state Illinois, but we felt the anti-Trump discussions even down here.

I'm pretty damn proud of Illinois/Chicago right now.

That Trump Pundit on CNN saying the protesters should be ashamed of themselves... God.
How dare you stop our message of hatred, and violence. :x

This is all on Trump, you don't play around with this issue. You can fool around with Marco's height, or the size of your wiener, but not this.

Ah yes, this blind Trump supporter on CNN again. Embarrassing.

"Dr. Carson is one of the most peaceful..."

...guys who tried to stab his mother or something? Of course.

Keep listening, those who would vote for him. What happened to freedom of speech? Fuck all y'all..

Trump postponed the rally of his own accord, the govt had nothing to do with it. Therefore, his freedom of speech wasn't violated.

Also, the people protesting have their freedom of speech rights as well.

"His Butler says he's a great boss"
Is it his current butler. Because of fucking course he's not going to badmouth his employer on public fucking television

Man I wish I was there. Will there be a stream?

No idea. I'm planning to go with my wife if we can squeeze in, we're expecting a huge crowd. UIUC is seriously strongly feeling the bern (as are a ton of college campuses) so I think the turnout will be massive. I'll grab whatever photos/videos I can, though I'll probably try to focus more on just enjoying his talk.

Exactly he's getting tons of press and is hitting a lot of voters.

He comes off as an outsider to the political game which people like, he is confident and has his own style which is engaging people to follow politics like never before. Not only does he get the crazy nutjobs he actually gets a lot of moderate voters. Protests like this and how the liberal media are attacking Trump are helping him gain the victim card to a lot of people.

He will secure the GOP nomination and the biggest error the Democratic party is going to make is focusing on the "Look how crazy and racist Trump is!!" rhetoric. They have to attack him through policy and experience and not as some crazy person because clearly that isn't working.

He'll secure the GOP nomination but his chances in the GE are pretty slim.

And actually, attacking trump for being crazy and racist is working. The thing with trump is that he has a super loyal floor of voters that will vote for him no matter what, but outside of that Trump is INCREDIBLY disliked, more so than any other candidate ever. The threat of a Trump presidency is much more likely to encourage Dems to vote than excitement over a Clinton presidency.
