Massive ongoing protest in Chicago makes Trump "postpone" his event

They want to be at large events that draw the most attention to their groups and or candidates and media doesn't care about Cruz rallies.

In terms of actual policy Cruz is much worse, but also largely disliked. Trump's "policies" are copy-pasted in crayon from others and vary from day to day, but he has a lot more popular support.

Folding to protesters? Can't imagine what he would do against Putin

That's how Trump would slander Cruz if this happened to him right?

I hate this shit. It implies that Obama and Democrats are Evil or Bad. What truly despicable things have Democrats ever done that they would be lumped in with Republicans?

Wut? Do you create your own implications?

None of the candidates for presidency excite me and Obama is still currently the best.

I am very moderate and both parties are too extreme for me. I just want America to thrive.

If protesters effectively shut down Trump's free speech by drowning it with their free speech, that's not free speech at all. That's just sabotage. If protesters want to speak their mind, they should do so when Trump is finished. Again, imagine Trump supporters storming a Clinton rally and drowing her speech with their loud protests. Would that be okay to you? I think it'd be idiotic.

I don't know about the USA, but in Germany, when a political party crosses a certain line, the court will declare that party illegal and ban it. The NPD is pretty much under permanent watch because of their radical rightwing views. The same is true for the newer AfD who's members proposed shooting refugees, if they illegally cross the border. There got to be a similar option in the USA, no?

How can you agree with what you said in your first paragraph and what you said on your second paragraph? Is it because in the second paragraph it's the state making the distinction of what's allowed whereas in the first it's citizens?

I'm genuinely curious here.

Banning political parties is basically the calling card of authoritarianism. I mean, not every state that bans political parties is authoritarian, but every authoritarian state bans political parties. So it's probably something to be avoided.

Trump is really good at getting media attention. If he continued his rally, it would simply be framed as "Trump rally protested by UCl students" or whatever. Now, it's a shutdown. An event.

Yo I've taken to the time to respond to your inquiry

At least let me know you aren't planning to reply
Don't leave me hanging

I honestly didn't respond because I didn't want to derail the thread. I just wanted to know where you were at in all this.

I don't mean any disrespect, but I don't wanna make the thread about you and your conservative views. Thank you very much for responding though and given any other thread you can bet I'd wanna talk about it.

Fair enough but then why did you ask me in the first place?

And not all my views are conservative

Lol, all this protesting is doing is solidifying the supporters choice for Trump. If someone tells me "No", I'll say "Fuck you, yes!"

So yeah, I think this protesting is doing more harm than good.

Will also motivate people to make sure he doesn't win the general election, I hope

Not only that, but he took over all three major cable news networks, had long interviews with Matthews, Greta, and Don, and canceled coverage of Kasich's MSNBC town hall and Cruz's event with Hannity.

And now this is what everyone's going to be talking about all weekend leading up to Super Tuesday II.

He just came out and said many were profesional paid protesters.
Yeah, he stopped implying it and just said it outright now

And now blaming Obama for stoking the flames of political/racial divide, ughaaaa

I'm tired of this. So people should stay silent. His base will vote for him regardless. I'm glad people are protesting this shit stain on America.
