That doesn't even make any sense

Anyone who doesn't have a super tech suit, super powers, etc is a jobber. They're just written to be effective. Hawkeye is completely useless. Additional strength and speed mean nothing. They're all Mumem Rider when Boros attacks.

I refer to this as "anime fan explains what being a jobber is"

All the terrible tumblr gifs lead me to something actually worthwhile, which I like very much and helps me accept the black stripes breaking up the rest of the classic design.

I can´t stop laughing at this xD

Bue i love new suit , new suit is the most faithfull and the best looking one , i liked 1 and 3 suits, hated the suits in reboot, people say the last one is amazing but i fucking hate it so much , must be because he is so tall and thin , looks like he have no muscles , its skinny tall spiderman with a huge head.

I'm ok with the new suit very much, I like the retro feel to it, but the CG model is very mediocre, I hope the real deal looks better. The pic with the eyes position made me laugh though, hopefully he can see :P

I'd love to see a pure 90's spidey adaptation, with the bug-like eyes and dark accents. So bad ass.

Eh. It does.

The ASM2 costume was a good design until I realized how good it could actually be. Giant eyes, big spindley chest/ back spiders, raised webbing... that was all wrong. It was fine at the time though.

It's a matter of intent. ASM2 represents Bagley or McFarlane Spider-Man better than this new suit. Nothing wrong with big eyes.

Well they've clearly made Black Panther more powerful than in the comics. Perhaps the recent ones make him out to be more of a badass. But he's pretty much just a poor mans Captain America.

On paper the Iron Man side just whalloop Caps with absolute ease. Anyway, this movie is going to be so great. But good god, is the human gunplay and combat of Natasha and Shield Agents boring.

Even in the Winter Soldier or Age of Ultron that stuff seems boring and only there to tick the boxes.

I only tell truths
No lies
All heat

...You know you just lit the Slayven Signal, rite

For decades, Blank Panthers main role in a team was to get his ass kicked. There's always one or two disposable fighters, who are sure to get their ass kicked. At the end of the day all Blank Panther does is leap around, dodge stuff then get knocked out.

That was like literally every Avengers comic he was in. But I guess it wouldn't look too good if the first proper black MCU super hero did a bunch of evasive flips and then got immediately knocked out as his true character would.

Are those contemporary?

I'm sure he's had his moments of badassery. At his intro. But when he was brought into the fold, made into a proper Avengers throughout the 80s and 90s, he was basically the waterboy. I mean, he sure wasn't winning any battles for the Avengers. He was just really damned good at dodging things until he got slept.

It was a very RPG like time in comics. Only the powerful got respect.

Beautiful.

It gives him and his arms, and legs somewhat of a segmented look.

Akin to an actual spider leg.

EDIT:

this art makes me think the black lines are meant to feel like the segments in the legs of a spider

Fuck you and your thoughts.

;__;

Read Secret Wars, both Prelude and the main run.

If you say so.

I'm ok with the new logo, more memorable and clean.

I feel like one thing Spidey has been lacking is a strong logo. This one is simple and sleek.

Come back to me when Captain America is considered the 8th smartest person in the entire Marvel Universe.

Boy those drugs must be some good stuff!

I mean, comics be comic books and there is jobbing and inaccuracies, but really? You should read the past 2 decades of BP.

I mean c'mon. You are suggesting that a superhero movie character is stronger than the comic book counterpart. No movie has reached any characters powers/abilities. That includes BW and Hawkeye (although he is a weird character when it comes to fighting abilities).

I just want my Inhumans movie.

I still want Black Bolt vs. Thanos, but Inhumans is after Infinity War in the MCU :/
You're good people
I'd be okay with my boy getting knocked out by Thanos if it was as knock-down-drag-out as that.
I wondered if you were on a "fuck yeah nerd products, I gonna eat them all up" trip, or, well, if you have standards. Dismissing all kinds of criticism left me confused.
To dismiss all kinds of criticism isn't a proper response, but I must admit it seems like there are a lot of them that do feel like nitpicks and almost like people are looking for something to be wrong. Like they want to be contrarian and don't want to admit that they like it, so they find a flaw that isn't really much of one at all. Although, that's more of a "trailer threads in general" type of deal.

Lol at War Machine.
Finally, he's here for you,
it's the last member of the Iron Man crew!
His armor's so strong, it isn't funny,
Can make a Bucky cry out for mummy,
Can pick up a boulder with relative ease,
makes crushing rocks seem such a breeze,
he may move slow, he can't jump high,
but War Machine's one hell of a guy!
Still waiting for my childhood modular armor

I never got over that it looks like football pads

So this is where the crossover truly begins

Abomination.
Hulk
Abomination
Thor
Spidey
Cap
Panther

Then what? I mean, Thanos must be up there, I would say number one (though we haven't seen him do anything). If Drax ever lives up to the "built to kill Thanos" level, then he'll be up there as well.
Spectacular.
Sensational
I don't know what it is about Sharon, but when I saw her during the "Captain's Orders" scene, I got super jacked. All she did was say a couple lines, kick a chair, and miss Rumlow, but goddamn I thought she was so badass for some reason.

Maybe Emily VanCamp carries it well? I dunno. Can't put my finger on it. If she actually gets to kick ass in this film, though, then I'm golden.
Lmao , Bucky is terrible.

And is just Tumblr bait
I honestly don't know what that means. I see the GIFs, but I have no idea what "Tumblr bait" is.
Some random speculation
I saw clones were mentioned earlier as speculation. I think in the production thread on one of the rumors is the movie starts and ends with a funeral. One funeral is confirmed because early set pics showed Cap walking with a casket. I'm sure it's Peggy. It would emphasize Bucky's importance because he's now truly Cap's last link to his past. My crazy speculation is what if there's a clone of Peggy in play? What if Zemo can promise to or just up and clones her and makes her Cap's current age and messes with him? I'm sure it's all just Bucky, but hey it's a thought. I do feel confident Zemo's whole angle in the movie is he has Bucky's leash. I bet he can turn the programming on and off . The scene with Tony putting on the nano glove, he seems so surprised I wonder if Bucky just doesn't show up but they have a friendly meet and Zemo turns on the crazy killer mode. I'm guessing Cap's whole thing is he feels he can fix Bucky but Stark and crew don't want to take the chance. It might be pettiness on Stark's part, feeling Cap and crew didn't trust him making Ultron and he's bent about it. I think I read a director or producer saying some heroes drop out after the fighting gets more intense. I bet the run towards each other shot is the initial fight and after that guys like Ant-Man and Spidey drop out (maybe War Machine gets taken down here). Also, I'm guessing Zemo and Ross are in cahoots somehow. Whether it be clones or mind control or whatever.
Ross is probably under the impression that either Zemo is a good guy a la Citizen V or he's playing the "I get my Accords, you get Cap" exchange game (which always works out well).
I agree but I don't think it's the reveals fault. It's just the antagonist switches from bucky to a global hydra threat which I wasn't feeling. Already talked about this earlier but it would have been cooler to go straight cap vs bucky final confrontation instead. Like the older action movies
I can definitely agree with this. I always see people saying the movie falls a part in the third act, but I never got the reason why. In fact, my problem with "the third act falls apart" is that it always seems to be a criticism people use, but never elaborate. I think it's an attempt to be vague while still sounding like they know shit.

Regardless, if that's the complaint, then I can totally agree.

No team member, as far as major characters go, will ever be as bad as Warren Worthington. Without his Archangel power up, all he did was fucking fly around. Even new Warren, with his grand cosmic power up, does fucking nothing.

A) That's not what a jobber is, B) Green Arrow has beaten Darkseid.

Looking at the gif where Sharon is kicking Bucky, I see what I think is Tony on the back, and some people lying on the ground, so this might be at the U.N place that blows up.

Its also possible Sharon was the person Bucky was trying to shoot, but Tony deflects. If he just wasn't shooting at Tony, that is.
