Captain America: Civil War - Final Trailer

I went to a midnight showing of Winter Soldier, but I was pretty tired. As soon as that boat scene kicked in, boom, wide awake for the rest of the movie. Then just a short break and you have Fury's amazing car sequence, which is one of the best I've seen. Winter Soldier easily became my top MCU movie, and I was never even much of a Captain America fan.

So how is Spidey going to be explained having been Spidey for a year in the MCU?

Is he going to be a street-level character that gets "promoted" to the big leagues?

I don't recall any shit dialogue and clunky controls in Winter Soldier.

( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

You know how Daredevil is doing his own little thing away from all the movies?

I imagine Spidey was doing the same thing. He just doesn't have a Netflix show =/

So everyone is OK with the animated eyes?
Didn't like it in deadpool either.

They seem to be tied to a zooming mechanic (you can hear them zoom in in the trailer). Or they're there to regulate how much light goes through (moves fast = opens up to let in more light)... or they're there for the sake of showing emotions so he doesn't have to take off his mask 24/7 to show the audience that he is visually cringing at Bucky and Falcon jobbing again.

I'm sure they come up with a good reason for his mask having mechanical "eyes".

Yet!

For reals tho let them make a Spider-man 2099 show for Netflix so they don't even gotta worry about continuity.

It's a mask.
If we can't see emotions then it is just the way it is.

Just stupid.

I remember I was slouching in my seat expecting to be pretty entertained. Then the boat scene happened and I sat up and winced on every impact and yelled out "Holy shit!" as Cap was going ham on everyone. I was hooked the rest of the way through lol.

Shit was so much fun. Him kicking that poor sap into the ocean had me rolling. Dropping dudes left and right. Widow smacking someone in the face with a wrench, Crossbones sniping a dude while parachuting down, wtf

I just enjoyed having my mind blown at the fact that I was seeing MGS2 come to life

Kojima wishes he had Cap

When Cap hit Bucky with that German Suplex in their first fight

I marked out

like for real for real

Yo I fucking popped for that

Bucky's knife tech

Cap kneeing him THROUGH A FUCKING CAR

The moment I knew the Russos weren't fucking around was when Cap through the knife through the dude's hand. Cap in Avengers would have tried to talk him out of hitting the alarm or some shit. Winter Soldier Cap ain't got time for that crap.

Cap doesn't skip leg day.

I winced at that real bad, then he kicks him right in the head for good measure, like goddamn Cap chill out

Cap doesn't skip leg day.

Cap skips no days

Like Morrison Batman never happened... Or Bat-Dick in general.
Dickbats failed several times and had lots of weaknesses. Right off the bat Damian bailed him out in a corporate meeting because he doesn't understand business. He then got beaten by Two-Face.

BP really sounds like a Mary Sue, which is boring.

Apparently it's not just the way it is if we're getting an emoting mask.
I forgot where I saw this but someone noted that every time there was any emotion that needed to be shown in a Spider-Man movie, he had to take his mask off. It was kinda ridiculous, especially in the first Amazing Spider-Man (which I liked), how much he was running around without the mask.

Seriously. I will NEVER watch First Avenger again..hated that crap. I still can't believe Winter Soldier is my number one MCU movie.

Don't get the wrong idea, even when he wins, he loses.

Sure, at any given opportunity the man will kill you without blinking and sometimes, without a scratch, but you can hurt him so much that even his victories are nearly hollow.

I somehow managed to get into 4 pre-release screenings for Winter Soldier and I still went to see it on opening night. I thought First Avenger was just an ok movie but Winter Soldier is one of my favorite movies just in general.

we really gonna act like Bucky doesn't have some badass scenes in Winter Soldier because he was kicked by Falcon?
...

I think it makes sense for Bucky to go the jobber route for now. He was badass in TWS because he had no remorse due to being under Hydra control. It seems that he is free now (or atleast partially) so he is probably overwhelmed with guilt and remorse for his actions.

Maybe they'll turn him around once he "redeemed" himself at the end of this.

Luckily Chadwick seems to have a better understanding of BP than you

How is he exactly a jobber? Sharon's kick barely phases him.

It's always amazing to me how some posters' opinions can be so easily swayed by 2 second GIFs. Bucky was in no way depicted as weak in Winter Soldier, and I doubt that will be the case in Civil War, but a seeing him get hit on repeat negates that.

I always thought spidey took his mask off so much because Sony wanted to show that star power face, not because of emotions

I think it was a bit of both. Marvel actually came up with a pretty good workaround with Iron Man, by just putting the camera right inside the mask so we could see him without having the need to take it off.
