I was rewatching it recently and loled at that line again. So inappropriate. Definitely something Tony would say, though.

It's inappropriate but yeah, I think it's very much a Tony line. It was probably ad-libbed by RDJ and it works very well despite it maybe rubbing some folks the wrong way.
The zucchini line was also probably an ad-lib and it really should not have made it in. It's excessive for the scene and just really dumb.

That's a damn good question. Overall I'd say Iron Man. But the entire first half of Spider-Man is just perfect-up until Green Goblin power ranger shows up at the Macy Grey concert. I love the origin story so much. The movie does seem to have aged bad is a few areas....

Some of it was, if you watch the director's commentary for AoU.
I wouldn't necessarily say it was the committee telling him to increase the humor but he points out specific jokes that were added in the editing process that were suggested by the people he was working with. It's probably more a victim of of the collaborative process of production and Whedon being open to many ideas (including a certain amount of adlibbing and on-set spontaneous ideas for scenes to add) rather than some nefarious "it must have X number of jokes to make more money" quota that people assumes is the way Marvel dissects the script like issues orders from the shadows like the World Security Council.
I think the zucchini line is bad in a way that makes you groan rather than just falling flat, but considering it's one of those jokes that works because the Hulk is green, I could see why they couldn't help themselves but to sneak it in there. It should have been more a throw away line that they just move past real quick rather than focusing on the joke, since I feel it was more the timing of the joke than the joke itself to be honest.

I've watched all the MCU films, which I've ranged from "hated" it to "loved" in terms of feelings on (averaging out somewhere in the lukewarm middle), and even the very best doesn't have a patch on Spidey 2. Peter's arc in that film is the most successfully set up and executed arc in any comic book movie and Ock was a wonderful foil and performance. The reveal where MJ finally sees that Peter is Spider-Man is still the biggest emotional payoff I've ever witnessed in a comic book movie, because it was so earned and a great culmination to Peter's journey.

If people only realized that Raimi was poking fun at the idea of making the hero going down a dark path just turns them into a edgelord, I think this part of SM 3 could be forgiven and people would instead complain about the actual bad stuff about the film.
Just think about how much worst it would be if he played that straight instead of in this goofy montage that fit in with the tone of the comedy those movies had. It would have been bad. You can just feel Raimi's disdain for Venom and Sony forcing him to include the character.
It kinda annoys the shit out of me when people make HD versions of established gifs or memes.
Like when someone did a fancy version of this.
Long live the cam Spider-man 3 gifs.

Thor: The Dark World and Iron Man 2 are both about as good as Spider-Man 2.
Thor: The Dark World is just north of Catwoman/Ghost Rider/ Daredevil tier. It's the by-far the worst Marvel film.

agreed 100% the idea is that the black suit magnifies the darker qualities of the host. Peter Parker is a huge dork so it makes total sense.
I even kind of like what they did with the black suit, sure it looked just like a black version of the regular suit at first, but as he got worse and worse the spider emblem actually got larger and more white, more pronounced. By the time the suit attached to Eddie and became venom, the emblem was the Venom emblem that we're used to, I even kind of like that venom retained the fucked up looking web lines on the suit
