If it releases 'now' I'm suddenly falling ill.

So what does that mean? That the game might be releasing soon and they already have the price locked down?Someone went through the source code (paradoxplaza.com/stellaris) and found the value 39.99 mentioned. After it was pointed out, the code was changed to 1.
.Code:<div class="hidden"><span itemprop="price">1</span><span itemprop="priceCurrency">EUR</span>

Doesn't mean much. 40 seems to be the standard Paradox price point for their games. Crusader Kings and EU4 are the same, HOI4 will probably also be that.So what does that mean? That the game might be releasing soon and they already have the price locked down?
I missed the countdown stuff. That is interesting. If this releases this week, I'll be very happy. That's the assumption. There's even a countdown in the source code.
Don't make me drop my pantsThat's the assumption. There's even a countdown in the source code.
Thank you, I quite did!
Interesting that they're positioning the game as a 4X / Grand Strat hybrid, with early game more dedicated to 4X & GS for mid/late.
Looks like they're trying to broaden their audience via accessibility while claiming to maintain the depth & complexity Paradox fans crave. Sounds like a tight line to take, but I think it's a smart move as the Paradox name is now big enough to usher in a larger crowd if they can just lower the entry bar enough to welcome them.
The game remains one of my most anticipated releases of the year.

There is no gameplay trailer or something like that out there, is it?
I like space games but I have never played a Grand Strategy game so I have actually no idea what you actually do in them.
Need to go to bed now though

My excitement for this got me to install CK2 again. And once again, I stare at the screen as I go through the tutorial
Idk, something about Stellaris is much more appealing and seems more user-friendly. But I really want to get into CK2

We'll get more goodies today and tomorrow.
So I just watched the 10 minute Polygon video (I will watch the 40 minute one later, but I need to leave soon)
Obviously nobody here has played it, but so far it sounds a lot like Civilization in realtime and with no tiles)? Am I completely wrong with that? Not saying it's 1:1 but it sounds very similar to me, so far.
