They don't somebody who is funded by Goldman Sachs and Wallstreet in the White House. If you watch TYT you'd know they're vehemently against money in politics and so should any sane person. Hillary would not repeal Citizens United and it would essentially maintain the same corrupt government.

Like what is wrong with people? Do you realize your government doesn't work AT ALL for you anymore? Bernie is the only dude with the balls to let people know what's really going on.

Bernie is too pie in the sky. Bernie is unelectable. Bernie has no path to nomination. Bernie cannot beat trump. Bernie is too old.

You have no idea what they actual details behind the Citizens United case are, do you?

Man, I really hope you pull your head out of the sand. Citizens United isn't any small time deal, this NEEDS to be repealed.
Are you ignoring that Hillary hates it, has made it an issue for any judges she would select, and that it was originally established in order to attack her?

Nice to see you're finally getting it

Whole lot of hoplla concerning Arizona polling issues like turing away registered voters or closing early coming up in a lot of articles I'm seeing. I'm not sure if this is just more Sander's supporter nonsense or legitimate given the previous AZcentral article linked in the thread.

There are a couple issues, none of which have anything to do with Hillary or Bernie. Maricpoa County cut down on the number of polling locations in order to save money. That wasn't something Hillary or Bernie had anything to do with. However, there was early voting available. There was no reason someone had to vote today,You could have voted anytime the polls were open from Feb 24th. While I never think it's okay to decrease the number of polling locations, there was still nearly a month of early voting available.

As for the party registration thing, Primaries are party events. It's a closed primary. If you weren't registered as a Democrat in time, you couldn't vote. If you did change, but the records weren't updated (for whatever reason) you could vote provisionally, and then it would be checked against the register.

Do you know what citizens United was even about?

Do you understand the mechanics of Supreme Court rulings and how they get overturned?

I have a suspicion that answer is 'No'.

You know you're talking to someone who doesn't have a clue when they talk about a president repealing citizens United. It's so many levels of wrong there is no place to begin
Bernie is just going to use the undocumented power of the executive branch that Obama used to repeal the second amendment to override the Citizens United ruling

Yes, we know. We're all stupid and uninformed.

Hillary has said multiple times that she will appoint justices who will work to overturn Citizens United. If she can't get them on the court, she said she supports a Constitutional Amendment as well (which is less likely than the court appointments).

I'd also encourage you to research Citizens United and find out which candidate they were trying to smear in (then) violation of the law.

I'm not trying to attack anyone personally, but this is reality. Citizens United is a core issue and it's not brought up enough for people to understand.

Why on Earth would you trust her to do that when she relies on big campaign donors just to stay in the election? Do you really think she'd repeal Citizens United with another term ahead of her? Come on, guys. You can't actually believe this.

It supposedly effects Latino heavy areas and they dont vote for Sanders anyway. I think its legit.

Cnn going in on the point that even if sanders wins every upcoming state in a close race he'd still lose.

Obama received massive superpac support. He put two judges against Citzens United on the bench.

Which part of the constitution would she use to repeal it?

Citizens united decision was disgusting and gross but weve seen massive amounts of money spent this election cycle and the last presidential election to no affect. A hundred million got Jeb...? 20 million in attack ads in Florida against Trump did...? SuperPACs seem to have leas effect than anticipated. Id be happy with public funding of campaign financing tbh. Better than having the Koch bros decide they want to spend hundreds of millions to sway an election.

Tell me about it!

I'm fine with Bernie's message. I just happen to dislike the messenger. 'Angry old white guy who only cares about a couple things to the exclusion of everything else' just doesn't do it for me.

Dude, you seemingly have no knowledge of the issue whatsoever. Citizens United literally happened because the GOP wanted to spend infinity money against her. Only the Supreme Court can do anything about it and she's pledged to appoint justices that would overturn it. Even if Bernie won he couldn't do shit about it other than appoint judges to overturn it. You have no idea what you're talking about.

Seriously, you need to do some research on Citizens United.

Here is an idea, how about you get your head out of your own ass.

Do you even know what Citizens United vs. FEC is? Do you even know that the president of the united states literally cannot repeal a supreme court verdict?

Do you have any fucking idea what you're talking about? No really, do you? Do you know that Citizens United vs. FEC was ABOUT a group attacking Hillary Clinton?

Of course not, because that would require actually doing five minutes of research instead of just spewing bullshit that you like to hear and makes you feel all warm and good on the inside thinking how smart you are over everyone else.

Ain't like Bernie doesn't speak nigh eons about citizens United. Yeah we get it. Seriously. That's why we are supporting a candidate that would appoint a judge opposed to it.

Bernie promises to repeal Citizens United by stalking Clarence Thomas until he becomes unnerved enough to actually saying something along the lines of reviewing the case

Citizens United is not a law. It is not going to be repealed. It is a ruling that can be over turned. Or, it can be made unconstitutional through a Constitutional amendment. Both of these stances Hillary supports, and has said, over and over, would be a requirement for anyone she nominates for the Supreme Court. (The Constitutional Amendment won't happen because of obstructionism)

Also, please define "big campaign donors," because no matter your size, big or small, there are limits to the amount of money a person can donate to a candidate. It's $2700, no matter how big or small you are.

As to PACs, no, I don't like them. However, I understand the need to utilize them when your opponents (ie the GOP) will be willing, ready and able to drop $1 billion dollars to steal the White House. So, no, I don't want my candidate to handicap him/herself on the mountain of ideological purity. Once we take everyone's knees out from under them, then absolutely.

You have no idea what you're talking about yet are sadly identical to a plethora of other bernie supporters who get their information from facebook. He's doing a bang up job of building up one hell of an uninformed voting block

I've been saying for a while that a lot of Bernie supporters are just angry low information voters on the left side.

How is he not the top choice if he was on shortlists before but Obama chose 2 others?

It is a great loss to his legacy to make a cynical political move. The polls are supporting the nomination more and more so the Republicans might move before the lame duck session.

If Obama withdrew the nomination in November, he will make SCOTUS have over 2 terms with a 4-4 bench and the obstructionism angle is lost because he will be the one being obstructionist.

No, the assumption if the Dems win the White House in November is that the Senate flips as well. It's not that far right now, and the GOP has way more seats up in battleground states.

There's simply no win for the GOP with Garland, and all wins for Obama. If they vote and approve him, then we get a much further left justice (Garland is definitely left-wing on most issues) than Scalia, with a likely 2 more replacements under Hillary. They also look like losers who caved to Obama, so their base could try to primary them. If the GOP is fighting off people in their own primaries, they can't hope to win any of the contested seats since the Dems would only have one front to campaign. If they don't approve him, then it's for their stated reason. "The American people deserve a say in the next Supreme Court Justice!" And that immediately opens up a free Hillary nominee the day she swears in by their own reason for obstructing.

The Garland pick was fantastic. Nominating a radical left-wing Justice would've only justified the obstruction. Right now, it's hammering them in public where most polling shows the people believe Obama should be able to nominate reasonable Justices. Let them get blasted in public over this for another 7 months.
