See, folks, Hillary's speech is how you tailor a stump speech to fit the audience you're talking to. You make it local, not just saying the same 4 things over and over again.

At this point it's just a broken record about basically "gaining" momentum and with his chances of the nom are dwindling to the point of impossible fast it's getting tiresome. Cutting away from his speech is basically:

It's funny. One reason I'm such a huge supporter of Hillary is my dad was a life long democrat. Took me campaigning with him from the time I was little until he was too ill to keep doing it. Hillary excites me because of her pragmatism. I know a lot of people love pie in the sky stuff, but I like realistic and attainable. In that way, she reminds me of my dad..at least in outlook.

It's only relevant in that Cruz is going to break 50%, take all of the delegates, and deny Trump any. But Cruz has no path to a majority and a win in a heavily Mormon state doesn't say anything about the rest of the country, especially as Trump is dominating in Arizona.
Early voting, if you qualified to get on the ballot you stay on the ballot and those votes count, even if he is out when normal votes would be coming in.

This would look bad for Obama and I don't think the chief judge of the DC Circuit would be willing to play the role of a political pawn. By all accounts, Obama wants Garland on the Supreme Court.
Yeah I totally agree with you, her speeches are the most exciting imo because they are not only genuine, the things she promises seem possible.

Garland is a compromise candidate meant to make Republicans look bad for being obstructionist. Garland would have to be braindead to not know this. Not to mention, he's old enough that he doesn't have anything to lose for being turned down. He isn't Obama's top choice as he's brought in much more liberal justices in the past.

Cruz must not be happy about that even though he would have still lost if the vote share for the other category was significantly smaller.

Top choice or not, Obama was never going to nominate someone he wasn't comfortable with. He thinks Garland would be a great judge even if he'd have picked someone else if the nomination was guaranteed to be confirmed.
