lmao

"Terrio plz"

Ben will either come out of this juiced up to make a great Batman movie, or he'll just ride it out in dejection. No half measures.

I'm not even that into MCU films, but the best part of this is watching every DC fanboy on Facebook and Reddit completely lose their shit over these reviews haha.

No way. You can tell that they had a small budget. Those action scenes don't come close to the Hulk TV show. The characters are all unlivable except the villain. They had no idea what they were doing with Nuke.
i agree with everything here except that the behining barely held my interest. I was about to quit 3/4 into the first episode, then told by a fellow gaffer to watch it until episode 2's terrible action scene ... Stick with it for David Tennant, and fast forwarded the last 3 episodes.

I'm not saying Daredevil doesn't have problems, but I lasting impression was I wanted more DD.

That's sort of the issue with general comic book/MCU fan reactions to the show, though, since it's the first live action Marvel property that wasn't explicitly made with them as the target audience. It deals with issues of consent, privilege, and abuse, while not giving a fuck about hero origins or action, which is super surprising for light-hearted Disney Marvel.

It does what it sets out to do really well, even if you aren't interested or intrigued by what it's trying to do.

And the difference between that and something like Man of Steel (or BvS, it seems) is that Snyder is very plain about what he's trying to do but he fails at it.

He fucked up Batman or fucked up choosing to do this?

He had just dug himself out of his Daredevil/Gigolo era, perception-wise, and now he's back in another superhero movie that is reviewing terribly. He could be making actual Oscar contenders and now tied himself to a critically struggling universe.

Ben is pissed. Gut feeling he saw this coming whenever he saw the final cut. He should be happy that he's getting a lot of praise though. He didn't Clooney this movie.

Zack looks....Yikes. Take a vacation brother.

Everything I have read says that he is the best part of the movie but it has to suck to see it turn out so poorly. I mean he has some bad movies on his record but this one does seem to have bummed him out more then usual. Maybe he really liked the script and can't figure out where it went wrong.

Well you know. The only way is up from here :')

I'm yet to see the movie so can't comment on that however.

I'm a huge fan of the DC universe, I'm glad in a sense that the harsh critical response should prompt WB execs into evaluating their plans for the franchise. I hope it prompts more care in planning and some semblance of quality assurance. Yes, Marvels films do feel overly similar at this point - they manage to be good films in their own right, mostly.

WB picked him because he's their golden goose and won them Best Picture with Argo.

He's about as bulletproof as it gets. He got picked as Batman to direct and star.

we'll just have to disagree, which is fine.
I'm not a fan of Snyder, but I will go see this movie tomorrow and form my own opinion. I disliked Man of Steel, and I saw that in theaters, so why not BvS.

Well he's okay because people are still looking forward to his Batman movie. Still, has to be a bummer but it's out of his control. Cavill's like 'i'm used to this' ... lol

I have a real strong feeling like WB has no idea what to do with DC properties. As much as people complain about Marvel overlording their films, they DO command some measure of consistent quality.
