Awkward from the first response.

Affleck looks dead inside.

Affleck shouldn't feel bad. He can redeem himself in a Batman movie that he's in charge of. Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't he have an Oscar?

When the fuck is the Batflck movie going to be announced anyway? It's the only damn thing i'm looking forward to beyond Suicide Squad.

forreal. despite these tepid reviews for bvs the batverse still seems fairly strong in the future.

got lego batman movie and telltale games batman series coming up too god damn.

I feel so bad for everyone working on this movie. 3 years of their life just ruined in a couple days. I hope the guys at DC and Warner Bros can learn lessons from this movie when moving forward into Justice League. I havn't seen the movie yet, going to see it tomorrow but even if I love it, the majority of people probably won't and that sucks.

Those rumors that WB were not to thrilled with this movie seem justified. But then why keep Snyder to do JL tho?

They stacked everything to get the movies out as quick as possible, turns out that also leaves little room for corrections when a trainwreck happens. Oops.

Not unless DC gets rid of Didio.

From what I'm hearing, the Extended Cut may fix some of the pacing issues. I'll pass final judgement for when I see this myself.

If you can't tell a good story in three whole hours, another 15 minutes isn't going to help you. If anything it should be shorter.

I don't think anyone should be worried about the overall reputation of the Batman brand.

Everyone knows Superman has been a bad luck charm on everything he touches. Or at least lately he has been.

Films: Superman Returns, Man of Steel, Batman v Superman

Video games: There was Superman 64. Oh and a Superman game supposedly killed game developer Factor 5.

TV shows: Supergirl's ratings aren't too hot for a Season 1 show on a major network like CBS.

I swear to God, the part about
Bruce Wayne being lifted by bates while he has a Jesus-like pose
made me both die in laughter and remember one of the things noticed by the Nostalgia Critic in his Man of Steel's review, i.e.
I AM JESUS, I AM JESUS, I AM JESUS
Cant wait for the BvS Review. For real. It forced-artsy style of the movie will make it perfect.

True. It was odd that an extended R-rated cut was announced even before the movie came out in theaters.

Or:

: Umm Captain, why do you have the lifeboats out? We haven't even set sail yet.

: Errr... no reason. No reason at all. *whistles innocently*

Sony didn't have a choice I think, WB shouldn't be in a desperate state, they have the means to revert this, they just need to find the inteligence...

If anything Sony was in far better situation. Unlike WB, all future Spidey films were just in the planning stages, not in production/about to start filming like WB's films. They could have easily taken a step back and tried again in a few years.

I don't think reviews matter much financially for a movie like this. Everyone will watch it regardless.

I hope we'll start getting less of these superhero movies, the genre needs to rest a bit.

I found a list of Superhero Movie rotten tomato scores, but it only goes back to 2011. Wish the RT site let you rank things based on genre.

Next movie for it to sink below is The Punisher, which is at 29%

Actually, it goes to 2013. Iron Man 3 was the most recent movie on the list. So, some movies that need to be added are: 2013- The Wolverine, Man of Steel, and Thor: The Dark World, 2014: Captain America: The Winter Soldier, X-Men: Days of Future Past, and Guardians of the Galaxy, 2015: Avengers: Age of Ultron, Ant-Man, and Fantastic Four, and 2016: Deadpool, Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, and soon Captain America: Civil War and X-Men: Apocalypse.

Need an emergency cancellation. Push up BatFleck and Wonder Woman, kick Snyder to the curb

Since evrything is mapped out until 2020... Dont bet on that.

Ben just wanted to do this movie for his kids not for the fans or even WB/DC. Personally I do not think he was the best option to do Batman.

So when the "best" part of the movie is Ben's Batman and the rest is lame you can say you are screwed.

The problem with Superman is that he resembles an America than does not exists any more , its an 80s superhero that do not fits these days and DC has not find the way to do it. Marvel has the same situation with Captain America but they did a better job.

Suicide Command seems will have better luck, because it's the kind of movie people want to see these days.

the only one that directly correlates to this film is justice league though. it shares the director AND writer.

wonder woman and aquaman are planned by snyder as well but in the end he isn't directing it nor is terrio or goyer writing them.

if this needs salvaging they have to delay JL and retool it. Wonder Woman is likely going to be like thor or captain america 1. just the usual middle of the mall superhero movie. but with a woman this time which is nice.

Suicide Squad seems so far removed from all of this despite sharing the same Batman. it really feels like an elseworlds flick in the way it looks and everything. Hope that one really pans out.

Ok after watching the cast interview post reviews.

Come the fuck on.

This isn't worse than Thor , Iron man 2 etc...

Sure it has lots of issues, but it's not that bad of a movie. I feel like it's being destroyed for representing something more than for its own qualities as entertaining flick.

It's gonna drop under 30% . It doesn't deserve this.

If the movie really is such a slog to sit through, how many people are going to see it multiple times? I'm already dreading the 150 minutes I'm losing to it.
