I agree. There's a difference between getting paid to see movies, and paying to see a movie. Not saying reviews are useless or anything like that, but I do think that someone who reviews film professionally has a very different perception going in than the casual viewer. I'm excited to see the spectacle of it all as I've always enjoyed Snyder's visual style and he can put together good set pieces, even if everything else ends up a complete train wreck.
Is it possible to add a poll to this thread? It would be nice to see what score people would give. On a scale from 1 Hack Snyder kick him down a well and fire arrows down that sun of a bitch should he survive the fall to a 10 scale where Based Snyder can fuck all our bitches and Kevin Feige and Chris Nolan should bow their heads and plead to wash his feet.

It kind of seems as though if you liked Man of Steel that you will like this movie. A lot of people simply don't like the vision and the way the characters are handled, but I don't mind it at all, I don't need for it to be the same thing every time so I'm thinking I'll like it more than others if even just because I don't have that same mindset toward the characters.

Alfred was the best character. Irons did a good job I thought.
I loved the movie and thought it was great, but I can understand the need to replace Snyder to make it better. Better though does not mean copying Marvel.

I guess it's pretty worrying when they screw up Batman's character,
yet he's still the best thing about the movie.
Still hope I enjoy the action but it's disappointing that this movie is not the epic it should have been.
Really wanted DC to get their shit together with this but seems their movies are going to continue being hit and miss. Marvel doesn't seem to have anything to worry about, if this is what DC is bringing.

Saw it yesterday, and I enjoyed it a great deal. I also thought Man of Steel was fantastic.
The action was great. Everything felt heavy, powerful, and chaotic. Nice score again. Wonder Women was a tad underwhelming, but there's potential. Aflek and Irons were excellent. I like how violent Batman is. I even like how violent Superman is.
Lois and Lex didn't quite work for me. Lots of little things I could nit pick at. I didn't need to see yet another retread of Batmans origin.
If you like MOS, you'd certainly enjoy this.

Man some of you guys do not know how to spoiler tag. Just by saying "they messed up (insert character's name)" and then following it with spoiler tag doesn't do anything! Especially when said character has very very defining characteristics that you know most if not all of us here on this forum can guess.

Batman v Superman was a really bad idea to begin with in my opinion. Before this movie, DC should have made a complete reboot of all the characters. It is like if Marvel wanted to start with the Avangers before making the Iron Man, Thor, Captain America movies. It just wouldn't work. Another thing that I really hate about DC is that they separate their TV Shows from their Movies. So the fact that they decided to use a complete different actor for Flash was a HUGE mistake. Anyway, I'm not at all surprised by the bad reviews because it was doomed to flop since the beggining.

I don't really see the need for solo films of all the characters before this. This is mostly Batman and superman (with a small introduction of wonder woman) the most iconic superheroes. People the world over know them and there was Man of Steel before anyway.
In the avengers before their solo movies, only characters I was aware of were hulk and Thor but I didn't know marvel Thor, just the God Thor. I was never aware of iron man. I only saw that movie because of Robert Downey jnr, and thought it interesting to see how he got stuck in the desert and had to build a robot suit for himself.
