anyone floated the possibility that the team vs team airport shot is just a shot for the trailers and promotional material?

because i wouldnt be surprised if thats what it is

I was thinking of changing my avatar for a newer Cheadle but I don't think we have gotten a single good image of Rhodey without his face covered (except for the trailer shot of him passed out). Have I missed a promo shot somewhere or has there not been any?

War Machines armor has how many ultron bots he took down.

Does War Machine's armor belong to Tony Stark or the government? If it's for the government, why haven't they made more suits and how can they explain the blatant infringement on the Iron Man armor? They didn't even bother changing the helmet design.

It's only intended by Tony for Rhodey to use and any attempts by the military or anyone else to copy it would be infringement on Tony's designs. We can assume the military allows Rhodey to use it because it's effective.

Nope. You can't set expectations like that with a trailer only to not deliver a big battle.

Where did these originate?
who said anything about there not being a big battle?

im talking specifically about the shot of the two teams running at each other.

The original Avengers money shot looked terrible in that first trailer without the context of the movie. It was awesome in the final film though.

Man, the costume designs are so good. Theyve really got them down now. I know some of them havent really changed like The Vision but those pics really make it clear

I don't know why people have problem with the airport. They are trying to tell a more personal, emotional and grounded story. Would you guys rather have a contrived in your face plot where the heroes magically end up in an "uninhabited part" of a city so you get your fill of destruction porn?

It's mostly about the staging in that it is a really uninteresting and visually drab place to set a fight.

Is he is still using the old pre-MkII prototype for Warmachine?

I figured Tony would have given him an upgrade already, and Tony's suits are only enabled for a specific user.

Has any Marvel trailer spoiled the climax? The only one that comes to mind is Thor 2, perhaps? That's why I think the airport battle is actually a small skirmish, because Marvel doesn't have a history of spoiling the good parts.

Hulk catching Iron Man in the first Avengers is probably the worst thing they've ever spoiled. Robbed that moment of any impact in the actual movie.

Tony and Rhodes in the park vs. the Hammer Drones. Most of it was in the trailers. They shouldn't have shown anything beyond the face masks dropping.

Tony made a specific armour for him, the War Machine Mk II, which he used in IM3 and AoU. This seems to be War Machine Mk III. Tony took the Mk II back. I'm guessing Tony has a deal with the US government that he supplies them with the War Machine armour (and upkeep after IM3, since A.I.M. used to do it then) as long as it's used by Rhodes and not replicated. Basically, hey I'll give you an armour if you shut up.
