Mythical Pokemon being distributed throughout 2016

Wow I've been waiting for Hoopa and after reading this thread I realized it was released in December. -____-
Whenever i have to go to a store i.e. gamestop/mcdonalds for a pokemon it's so annoying.

I think it would be available for the entire day, but I would try and get online before then just in case. I have downloaded event Pokemon on the last day before, but not for this years event.
 
I missed Hoopa back in the day. Does anyone wanna trade me a legit one for a Mew code? I have an Un-scratched extra. Redeems until May.

Since there's apparently some demand here, I've got an extra Hoopa (just the Pokemon, not the code) and would be willing to trade it for a Diancie or a US Diancie code.
 
I just found about this today and now am sad I didn't manage to get a Mew :(

At least I can get the other 11 legendaries, wish I had known about this a month earlier ;_;

I guess it's the wrong region?

You can trade them online? I've understood they're banned from GTS for now?

I'm really angry for missing those two :/
 
To everyone asking: Hoopa codes (and Diance and any others) are expired and unusable. The only code that works right now is the recent one for Mew.

(At least, this is true for PAL regions, but I would assume the same goes for America)
 
I already missed out on Celebi? The month doesn't end until Thursday. :(

edit: Yep. Welp, guess I should have actually read the page instead of assuming that 'month of March' included the entire month.

Aww, damn, really? I guess I missed out on it, too. Luckily, I had Celebi from some previous event, so it's not a big loss.

Will definitely make sure I don't miss out in Jirachi, though.
 
I'm excited for Jirachi

That was my childhoods's "mew". Gold was my first Pokémon game ever but Ruby/Sapphire was when I was a young fanboy.

I was jealous of people getting Jirachi from the GameCube game, I'm glad I'll have my chance now.

this is because you are loading the game in a wrong region, the fix for this would be to use Homebrew loader and use the HANS app to load the game in the same region as the code you have
 
So I feel like an idiot for missing the celebi event by a couple of days. If anyone could please PM me if they have have a extra celebi to give away I would really appreciate it 😞

You shouldn't feel like an idiot. The dates weren't in the OP. It's a perfectly understandable mistake to think you had the rest of the month to nab him.
 
forgive of my ignorance but how did you guys miss the celebi event? I know the dates weren't specific but you had roughly 4 weeks to get it(at lest in the NA) and it was distibuted via internet so you could do it at home or where ever you frequent for internet...I know one life can be busy but it takes like 2 minutes to get it...

That being said I'm willing to give out a Celebi....no need to have keep all five I have

Procrastination. "I have a few more days, I'll get it next week" or "I don't feel like switching the cart/opening the game, I have time to get it later" . Sometimes you remember it before it finished but most of the time you remember it after. That's how I usually miss things. Right now, I usually get it at the beginning just to get it out of the way, I also tend to get some extra for trade bait. I mentioned this before, it might be abundant and easy to get while the distribution is still on but there will be people who "missed it or forgot about it or procrastinate or something". It's a good way to get some rare ones that you might have missed or something that's not available in your home region.

I know for me I am currently at a location where I can't normally get online with my 3DS. I have to go out of my way to a Starbucks or something (bonus points: limited to walking/bus) to get online. For these sorts of things I would do so at the beginning of the month asap so I don't forget, but it's easy to put off getting my butt to a Starbucks for a Pokemon event. I don't even like Starbucks coffee that much either lol.

But yeah it's pretty easy to procrastinate, especially when you lack steady Internet access.

Oh no! I didn't realize it was already the end of March and that the event didn't go all the way to the end. If you still have a Celebi to give out, I would much appreciate it.
 
I just found out about this legendary give away thing today when I made my thread about trying to catch every pokemon. Realized it was still march and I could get Celebi and a code for Mew from Ebay only to find out the truth.

If anyone has a celebi to donate / trade for a steam game or something I'd appreciate it.

For the irony, it stopped on 24th, and 25th was an international procrastination day ^_^
 
I forgot about this and missed Celebi :'(
 
Jirachi is now live in Europe. Will be live in North America in a few hours

Not sure if I want to have this event one or my Bonus Disc one that I used for a Sapphire playthrough back in the day in my Living Dex :)

Next month is another awkward trip to GameStop :(

I like this one just because it has the pentagon. Now my Hoenn Dex in ORAS is truly complete since my Jirachi being from Gen III was annoying me.
 
Heads up for anyone who doesn't feel too bad about "modding" your save is that event Pokemon can be traded if you use a save editor to remove the classical ribbon. The ribbon is what flags it as being untradable on the GTS.
