NXT has proven they like to start with a bang, so there is a chance they could. Owens and Liger had the opening slot when they first showed up. Although, this is also Austin Aries debut, so they may do him first. My guess at the lineup would be....

1 Austin Aries vs. Baron Corbin
2 Apollo Crews vs. Elias Samson
3 The Revival vs. American Alpha
4 Bayley vs. Asuka
5 Sami Zayn vs. Shinsuke Nakamura
6 Finn Bálor vs. Samoa Joe

The Samson match is the one bad match on the card, but I dont see them opening with a dud, so give Aries the opener. Corbin ain't too bad these days either (he insulted Virgil on Wednesday which was amazing). American Alpha can hype the crowd after Samson tries to murder them. I'd put Bayley/Asuka on before Nakamura as the crowd are going to go nuts for Nakamura regardless. If they have it the other way then I could see the crowd having some fatigue for Bayley/Asuka after the Nakamura debut. Obviously, the Championship match has to be last as it should be (this is not Wrestlemania).

I really dont think they'd do those final three matches back to back to back like that, the crowd would be absolutely dead by the time Balor and Joe came out. I think Zayn/Nakamura opens the night. I think Crews/Samson is put between Bayley/Asuka and Balor/Joe

You have a bunch of people who are believable competitors and then you just have The Drifter being overwhelmingly dumb. His music sucks, his promos suck, his pained agony looking at the camera while holding his guitar sucks.

I supposed it's better than having another person with their character being "from Jersey" but then again, it isn't

what's even more baffling is that they've proven they are not against giving the guy 20 minutes on a 60 minute program to go out there and just confuse everybody. the spectacle of it is the only thing keeping me interested, but i'm not interested in the drifter himself. i'm interested in what the hell they're doing creatively to justify their decisions
