I understand plenty, I wanted you to respond. I wanted you to type out more assumptions so you can read it to yourself.
Thats the only thing I can do is make assumptions because there are no real figures to go off. Getting real tired of people being condescending idiots who think their opinion is more valid. This is a discussion forum it would be boring if everyone had the same circle jerk viewpoint.
It's not hard to extrapolate though.
PS4 has a 1080p30fps baseline that, for the most part, is hit.
Xbox One has 40% less power on paper and despite the very similar APU setup it gets the inferior looking and running games.
Looking at PC graphics cards, of which is contained in the console APU, if you look at something like the 960 vs 980 which is the same architecture albeit with different amounts of VRAM, assuming you don't hit the VRAM ceiling, the difference in power is around two times and frame rates at the same resolution and graphics settings are suitably two times in difference.
Taking all that into account if PS4K with two times the power becomes the new baseline at 1080p30~60fps upscaled to 4K, if the rumours are to be believed, means that the PS4 version is going to be significantly inferior.
THAT is why I'm bothered. I don't care that there is a faster console that people who want it will get prettier looking games. I am bothered it is going to negatively affect the games that I want to play.
But that's not the case, if you really want that go PC. PS4 and Xbox versions of games are version on which developers try to get "optimised game running semi decently". So yeah PS4K will neable to run higher fidelity games regarding what developers intended. Is it a big deal ?
Please Sony, give us that new version. I want premium VR experience on console without waiting 2019![]()
I've got a PC, thats why I got a PS4, I didn't want to have to deal with upgrading every couple of years.....
