So i have been using this for a few days now. All it has me do is answer questions and buy cloths. I only have 2 friends registered. Is there anymore to this or is it just as dumb as I am assuming?

So I followed you. My twitter is the same as my username.
I had added everyone on the Miitomo Twitter list day 1 but a hundreds more joined up it seemed. I added over 50 before giving up.
Edit:
You also have to refresh twitter followers in the add friends screen to see new followers.

If you read this thread, you'd see that yes, there are a ton of us having issues loading the friend list.
I was hoping the latest update would fix this but nope. Pretty frustrating. I haven't been able to open it since day two. I'm guessing it's because of all the friend requests or too many friends...
Kinda kills Miitomo for me. Hope they fix it soon.
The secret is to be an asshole. Answer a question normally but also make sure to insult something else at the same time. The cat/dog questions are perfect for this. Guaranteed 3 hearts/comments every day because dog owners just can't accept they're on the losing team.

Yep, I tried downloading the app on my Android tablet as well (I use my iPhone 5S to play it), while signing in to my Nintendo Account. Well, the only thing that didn't carry on were the Miitomo coins. Everything else is there though.
Your profile? There.
Your guardrobe? There.
Your friend list? Everyone and their friend requests are there.
Comments from people? No problem.
While Miitomo coins don't carry between different devices, do tickets and candys stay the same? Absolutely?
But what about the Miifoto, I don't know even if I sav-they're there as well. Also, it took less than 10 seconds for the sincronisation the first time I downloaded the app on my Android tablet.

Miifoto has got its hooks into me, I spent 5,000+ coins on random outfits for the sake of a single picture yesterday

Miitomo coins are not Miitomo Platinum coins. The former is the in-game currency for in-game purchases, while the latter is the one that can be used to get discounted games / themes / special items for Miitomo through MyNintendo. The latter are not influenced by using the app on different devices-
Oh, so the in-app coins. I see, got them mixed up, heh. Maybe I'll just use em all right now on some clothes, and make this happen.

Just spent 15+ minutes blocking mutuals trying to free up one of the people on my twitter list that I want to add, and she's doing the same thing! We can't friend each other and it's maddening!
If you both share a friend you can visit that friends Mii and look at their friend list. You can then find her there and add her.

I suspected it didn't show for everybody due to it being called 'Secret'
It was in my shop, I tried it on, but didn't buy it.
Now whenever I return it's not there.
Maybe it's tied to some sort of achievement and has to be unlocked...?
Or perhaps there's a small chance of it cycling through with all new items each day?

I remember there being a brooch or medal as well. In fact, I'm almost sure I tried it on this morning (about 5 hours ago maybe), though I didn't check out the name. It's one of those things you attach to your clothes, not hang around your neck right?
They must've rotated the items since then because I can't find it anymore either. Weird.

This is different from the day's selections I had today, on the old device and on the new one. So everyone's dailies are different? That's pretty cool, I had no idea.

I feel like asking Nintendo to sort out a friend list of over a thousand people is amusing. I'm sure they never intended people to use it that way.

Yeah and we all just kind of messed up.
That said, there are a few kinda-sorta preventative measures that could have been in place. Like separating the lists of social media friends and friends of friends.
At this point what can Nintendo actually do? Can they wipe friend request data? Can they fix the app to fit more requests?
I made a mistake that I unfortunately can't reverse without some sort of fix, and it's impacting my ability to use the app.

Being able to bulk delete friends would help, along with sorting friends of friends requests and actual friend requests.
Optimizing the friends list would be great too. If it loaded a lot faster it would help.
Not even the RNG for random answers from friends works with so many friends. I end up just getting the same 10 or so people coming up. I feel like a weirdo commenting on these random people's posts almost every day, but they're the only posts that come up, sorry!

I don't think they meant mass adding random users via an internet spreadsheet with that hint though, lol
Even though I'm maintaining the Twitter list and the one who made the Spreadsheet, I'm not using it myself. Just sticking to people I know
