Giant Bomb Vive stream | What a Time to Be a Vive!

Just coming back after an hour away, have I missed lots of great shenanigans?

You have.

It definitely seems like the Vive being technologically superior to the Oculus has helped improve the software a good deal. But it still might just be they front loaded this stream with the good stuff.

It looks like the responce time on the vive's controllers are really good, I was worried that first gen VR stuff would be laggy but it looks like it's with in a frame or two from watching the twitch stream.

The stream has been great and Jeff has been enjoying himself. Ugh, hate this pre-set mindset that Giantbomb is jaded when they clearly aren't. Anyways, got a pizza coming in so I can enjoy the rest of the day's stream.

People only say that when GB have said something bad about their beloved game. As if the game and them are one.

I'm pretty sure Brad and Jeff have both said "This is awesome" multiple times out loud, but I guess that isn't enough to express enjoyment for some people.

If you enjoy life and find anything about games fun definitely shouldn't be watching a Giant Bomb stream.
Holy shit, this guy strikes again I see.

Apparently it's good enough for people to juggle the physical controllers while viewing them in VR.

used to youtube overreaction videos i guess

I wish Nuren from Virt was ready. It's a VR music video he kickstarted that is supposed to be like 3 hours long and has several guest djs.

I don't know. Still haven't tried VR yet, and watching this I gotta say the price point for a bunch of waggle games is ridiculous.
I'll wait for something that's worth it. But I'm not jumping on the hardware wagon without the proper software.

But they didn't yell it as loud as they could. so obviously they hate it and life. :)

Jeff does seem to be getting through some of the better stuff in the lineup. After Audioshield, I think The Gallery, Fantastic Contraption, Hover Junkers and Tilt Brush are the others that I'd keep an eye out for.

Looking at what released on Steam today though, there's a lot of time left on this stream besides those.

I'm a little behind but every one of those experiences except for #Selfie Tennis impressed me. Much better than the Oculus lineup.

I'm much more partial to the Oculus hardware, but I have to admit there have already been more games on this stream that look interesting to me than I saw on the Oculus stream last week.

After watching a few of these games, I can definitely say Oculus fcked up big time for not putting out the touch control during release. Motion control is extremely crucial for VR. This looks more fun than any Oculus stuffs they did the other days.
