That's basically my point too right now, unless the PS4K and XB1.5 talk is upsetting old PS4/XB1 fans enough to want to jump ship I don't see power being enough of a big deal to steal back some users from the PS/Xbox ecosystem. They're stuck, they still want to play Halo, Uncharted, Forza, Gran Turismo, Gears of War, God of War etc.

It's better to try to get that unique secondary console spot where they're not competing directly with any of the other two but still get those gamers to want the new Nintendo console next to their other core gaming machine of choice, be that PC, PS4/4K or XB1/1.5.

I honestly don't think Nintendo will get any wows and crazy cheering this year by slightly beating PS4 and XB1 in power, even if they're also beating their rumored upgrades. They need to do their usual thing and evolve gaming in some way so even PC gamers simply can't play that way on their $3000 gaming rigs either. VR is a big of enough deal right now that anything ordinary no matter how powerful it is will get the "meh" respons from the masses.

If they really are going the (partially) shared library route as speculated, carts will solve a ton of logistical issues.

I agree as far as handhelds. The only thing I would say is that since I have big hands, the sticks felt small. Other than that though, they are responsive and generally comfortable.

The general idea is that there's a decent chance that a lot of games will be shared between the console and handheld. But this presents logistical issues if the console sill uses discs, since there's no way to also use those with a handheld. The most elegant solution to the problem is to simply ship all games on cartridges, which allows for easy physical cross-buy, and provides several secondary benefits like faster load times and more flexible sizes.

Like you said none of us care about the marketing money. We just want to know the games. I don't know what made him compelled to share that info. Just leave it at the games. But yeah I feel like he kind of messed himself over. He doesn't post videos anymore since then.

Update: The proof that was submitted to the mod team has been deemed insufficient.

I'm a bit distrustful of any source that has a console name. Most of them are dumb, but not in a "Nintendo dumb" way.

Besides, a system name isn't even something developers need access to until its time for marketing to take over. That seems like a card Nintendo would keep close to their chest since there's little benefit in sharing it early.
