I'm a bit worried with what Tabata said about Luna, and I'm not talking about her relationship with Noctis but how he described her as
"That heroine that you always want to meet, but can't quite reach"

That leads me to believe that we'll always be
one step behind her, sort of like how Link was with Zelda in Skyward Sword for example, and there won't be really much interaction with her throughout the game
.
I hope I'm wrong, I know she won't be a party member or even a guest member, but I'm looking forward to see her do cool stuff and interact with the party.

They seem to stress that Kingsglaive is the part of the XV universe where Luna really shines.

Nice cover. I was hoping the cover story would be Horizon Zero Dawn though. I been patiently waiting for new info on the game for months now.

Sub_Level

wants to fuck an Asian grill.
Notice on the mini map there's a grayed out area to the right. Land that is yet to be explored or unreachable area?

Prolly the edge of the map.

I'd expect the open terrain to be like MGSV Afghanistan where you have unwalkable pockets of mountains and hills, so you just go in the paths between them.

its hilarious how King Regis is just chilling while noctis is all formal

Probably symbolic. Regis is comfortable in his role as king while Noctis tries to escape his burden as a prince and heir of the kingdom. The soup scene from the E3 2013 trailer can be interpreted similiarly and it also matches with some comments the staff made about Noctis.

SE's E3 conference this year is going to be incredible. So many things they can show.

Actually ep2 releases in June and EP6 is just some behind the scenes bloopers kinda thing exclusive to the CE.

I know they have put out demos and people shit all over them, but I hope Final Fantasy 15 as a whole is a great game. It would just be great if Square can nail it. Great for gamers, great for Sony and M$, just great all around.

SE should have made Cor Leonis the lead protag. An older lead would have been better imo.

I like Cor as much as the next red-blooded man who's past his early 20s, but the whole game seems to be built thematically around Noctis' and his father's relationship, which is pretty cool and certainly unique for FF.

I would like a mainline entry featuring an older lead some time though.

If you watch the watch the Niflheim base infiltration trailer again, when Noctis uses Armiger, one of the phantom swords is the dog...

Well, Lightning is older than every other Final Fantasy protagonist combined. :p

But seriously, she is actually the oldest FF protagonist, yar? It pretty much demonstrate that older isn't necessarily better if nobody knows how to write it.

ha ha, got me there. LR Lightning is ancient.

Wasn't she 21 in the first game? I'm thinking more 30+. Basically give Cyan/Cid/Laguna/Auron/Basch/Cor type character the spotlight for once.
