Yeah Thanos gonna mess shit up in part 1, get fucked in part 2.

Disney needs to bite the bullet and get all FF4 and co back from Fox.

I'm sure if Fox put a dollar figure to it, Disney would snap it up pronto.

Because of the runaway juggernaut that is the MCU, F4 and supporting characters are more valuable to Disney than they to Fox.

All the bad blood between the two studios is the biggest stumbling block preventing any deal.

So Squirrel Girl is in this?

No, they decided to do a different end to Thanos this time. While the Avengers are duking it out, Zemo opens a portal that allows Thanos to travel to earth in an instant. Spidey's Spider-Sense goes fucking mental at this point, so he's spazzing out. Thanos hacks into the interwebs and broadasts a message all over the world that he wants to face the Avengers. Little does he know, the Avengers are at the very airport where he entered Earth, so when he takes off with his helicopter, fucking Thor appears with Hulk to stop him, but they're too late. They are no match against the might that is Thanos. So Tony hacks the helicopter and tells Thanos that he's won, and asks him for one final request; to save Martha. Thanos is bewildered "WHY DID YOU SAY THAT NAME?" and while he is confused, War Machine comes barreling at Thanos and right before he commits kamikaze, he tells the guys he loves them and he wishes he was white so he wouldn't be sacrified. Thanos doesn't see it coming and they blow up in one big ass giant fireball. Well, Hulk is fucking stoked, and he's pumping his fist, when we zoom in to see the Infinity Gauntlet having survived the blast and landing right on Hulk's fist. We cut to Steve who looks at Tony and smiles. At this point Deadpool comes in and tells the audience to return for Inifintity Planet War Hulk.

But do they have Immortus or Pharaoh Rama-Tut or Iron Lad?

They probably have every version of the character locked down. If Marvel retains use of Iron Lad, then they probably have no way of connecting him to Kang.

I just don't see them ever using Kang since all that Egyptian stuff puts him in a similar wheelhouse to Apocalypse.

most likely Vision...

I'm gonna go ahead and bet that all the "original" Avengers will be dead by the end of Part 1. Strange will get the newbies like Spidey and Panther to safety and they'll have to regroup with Captain Marvel to form The New Avengers and take Thanos on alongside the GOTG in Part 2.

Do you really think we will see close continuity between Apocalypse and the subsequent X men film?

Ugh. I just rewatched Winter Soldier last weekend, and that scene just kills me. I absolutely love Peggy, and her and Steve's relationship in The First Avenger was really well done. Two leads having chemistry with each other is so important, and Hayley and Chris had great chemistry.

Anyone would have chemistry with Chris Evans. He's a goddamn hunk.

Disney should apply pressure. Fox is absolutely destroying the FF brand and keeping many characters in purgatory like Galactus, Kang, etc. And it would be nice to have full, clear rights to the skrulls. Cosmic Marvel would surely benefit.

Phase 4 = Fantastic Four.

I still believe.

Exciting stuff. Marvel wants those good reviews to hit soon so they help drive early ticket sales. This film will be a monster. Probably the highest grossing one yet if I had to put money on it.

Yeah, the wait for this is going to be long. Got tickets for Friday of opening weekend with the wife but damn May 6th seems like forever from now.

Things I'm worried if this gets praised to high heavens --- spoilers.
We're overdue for some neogaf account suicide and spoilers pm.

It's times like this that I realize how crappy being a mod in a forum lol.

So with the general public looking at RT even more after Batman shit the bed, marvel must really know this is gonna have good word of mouth. How do they know? Do they test it with critics before and ask their opinions?

I hope the fan screenings are later so the internet doesn't become flooded with spoilers.

All movie studios do tonnes of test screenings, this is apparently screening very well, though they're never an exact science so this is just confidence.

And they also have people who clearly understand what is and isn't going to resonate with audiences, which Warner clearly has issues with.

So what's the chance of Marvel keeping the Panther God in the Black Panther solo?

I mean they are introducing Supernatural things through Doctor Strange.

Here's hoping that they run the same two week early screenings that they did with Winter Soldier. I went to the Winter Soldier one two years ago, but arrived too late. This time, I signed up for Marvel Unlimited Plus just in case, so I would potentially get priority seating if they were to hold a screening.

They definitely are. Check Twitter.

Test screenings were reportedly really positive, matching Winter Soldier which is their best testing film to date.
