Yet half of the "jokes/sins" was the video creators either not being able to follow this, conveniently ignoring the context that makes it consistent, or just hoping the audience is dumb enough to not think for more than 5 seconds about what they said to get a cheap laugh.
I didn't laugh once watching the actual Everything Wrong with Sherlock Holmes video. I went and watched at least another 2, and I didn't laugh there either.
There is literally nothing funny here. It's making factually incorrect observations, then stating them as if they are supposed to be a joke. I've seen the argument that it's supposed to be a parody/satire of bad movie reviews/critiques. I'd say they actually became that themselves, but still fall back on the "we're just comedy guyz don't take us so seriously" line the moment anyone points out anything that's straight wrong.
