Regardless of which tweet it was, he must get sick and tired of all of the fanboy backlash he receives after every single review he does. I completely understand why he'd say it, because he KNOWS its coming. And it has, as evidence by this thread, and others.

i feel like they have nothing of real value to offer, or really know what their talking about. i've never seen someone actually get deep into a games mechanics, or why it's a great game or a crappy one besides the obvious stuff.

I agree with this. A grown man who has made a career out of talking about video games should have a thicker skin. He's not the only game critic out there. I follow a bunch of game critics on Twitter and they usually keep their cool. Throwing around terms like "xbot" and "pony" doesn't make you better than the people who are mad at you over game review scores.
Slightly childish tweet doesn't mean he deserves insults and threats.

Still, what does that have to do with the game and review in question? Nothing. Is the game good? Apparently not to a lot of people, that's what matters. Why you guys focus on this social media war bullshit is beyond me.
This is a thread about Joe on a gaming forum. We are discussing his review and being critical with our opinions on the subject? Why can't we be critical of his tweets mentioning the review? If the topic doesn't interest you there are plenty of others to choose from.

No one is saying he can't do what he wants, you can only give an opinion on what he does. It's like if anyone says anything remotely negative towards this guy they must be a "hater" which is just as ridiculous as the moronic fanboys.
He's very keen to stress the "haters" thing at times. I've seen tweets towards him in the past, polite, constructive criticism and he's twisted it as "hating" and his followers have attacked the person in question.
If the man thinks it's a 5/10, I have no problem with that, it's his opinion after all, people should accept it, move on.

You're only supposed to go in cover when you're low on health. Most of the time you're supposed to be on the move, using time dash, time blast, and focus. If you just stay in the cover, you're deliberately making the game awful for yourself.

Because that is counter to his entire persona as far as I can tell. Its just his personality, no reason to expect him to go changing it to appease people on the internet. Its what made him an internet celebrity in the first place. People don't follow AngryJoe to read politically correct tweets, and soft-toned monotonous video reviews that you get from IGN or Gamespot. They follow him because he's AngryJoe and he speaks his mind.
He's so defensive (before even releasing the review!) it feels like he gave a negative vote on QB for some other reason other than the game being "average".
If he feels his review is objective he shouldn't feel the need to attack "Xbots" before they know the vote.
Did he ever do the same with Sony/Nintendo fans? Because fanboys are always fanboys, no matter what console they love.

Quantum Break becomes a very tense experience when you use your powers extensively, suddenly the game turns into a remarquable game of cat and mouse, using the whole space at your disposal becomes critical, playing on hard I had a great time chaining powers and testing the AI's capacity to make me switch tactics.
This is the game Quantum Break has been engineered to be.
For those who have little experience with shooters hard is still the recommended difficulty, I found the game very easy most of the time (died a lot in platforming segments).

I'm sure TotalBiscuit will tear this game a new one too considering the troubles with the pc version, and then if the game isn't that good to begin with...
This is supposed to be a great shooter not a mediocre one considering it was one of MS big hitters, add to the fact will have to stand against Uncharted 4 which is coming out soon, how can you be angry at this review?

You were 'truly disappointed'?! Come on dude that sounds ridiculous.
To be fair this is just one review. Most reviews have been pretty positive for this game. Also it won't really have to stand against Uncharted since that game isn't coming to Xbox (I believe neither will steal sales from one another to a significant amount). If you're talking about purely on a comparison level then yes, comparisons will be made, however both games play drastically different from one another.

You have to be trolling, right? You can disagree with him but saying he rushes reviews out is factually incorrect. More often than not, his reviews aren't put out until at least a week or two after the games release, when most other outlets try to have them ready for release day. He's one of the few reviews that takes time getting his reviews ready, not worrying about the release date.
The reason I say you're trolling is because there's no way you could actually believe that what I've bolded above is correct. All you need to do is look at the dates his reviews come out compared to the games release date.
