From Software is developing future games for 2017+ on PS4, PSVR, Xbox One and PC.

It's probably King's Field.

This this the only thing that makes sense for PSVR at least.

King's Field was a first person action game right?

Still a modern King's Field with the dark settings and atmosphere of From Software's more recent output sounds very interesting.

Although it could also be a very different sort of game since Miyazaki wants to give Souls series and games like it a break.

A first person Mech Game like Armored Core VR is also a possibility too.

Tenchu. It's gotta be Tenchu

EDIT: It's true that their engines run rough, however, there are certain requirements they will have to hit for VR. I'm wondering if Sony will provide support for this.

It's possible, since Sony's investing quite heavily into VR. The fact that it's not exclusive makes it seem quite a bit less likely, though.

Ok so From Software says there is no audience on platforms and yet each of their games have BOMBED on the Xbox One and yet they still make games for them

The only thing surprising is vr. And that's not even that surprising since Sony probably wants everyone on board with that in some way.

Didn't someone buy the IP from them?

From Software still owns it as far as I'm aware.

King's Field, Otogi, Armored Core, Tenchu, quite a few IPs From Software can take advantage of while not retreading on the Souls formula, or something entirely new.

I look forward to seeing what they create.

No NX support? Damn, since the Souls games as a nice fit for the older Nintendo fans.

I wonder what they have planned for PSVR though.

Here's the comment made by the director of Dark Souls 2:

So isn't going to be surprise when From Software turns out to have nothing planned for NX either.

I think that they're dead-wrong, but what can you do?

Honestly I don't think this rules out another PS4 exclusive, they only mention their own IPs in the video, Demons or Bloodborne doesn't even appear.
Their new title will most likely be Armored Core, I somehow get that vibe because of the Aprils Fools they did, and it would work perfectly on VR.

Looking forward to what they have cooking. I love the Souls series, but I am kind of ready for them to at least do something else with the concept and add some new layers in a totally different sort of setting. Bloodborne 2 would be nice, but I am talking something beyond even that.

Huh, I wonder why it never went to other platforms then. Especially ps2.

From created it to take advantage of Xbox specs, with full pixel & vertex shader support which the ps2 didn't have. It was actually a very nice looking game at the time and also had a good amount of environment destruction and particle effects. They'd basically have to remake the whole game for PS2 and wouldn't be worth the effort.

The trailers were hype. One of the best theme songs too. Too bad it never caught on for mass appeal.

Well, no. They can have one team working on an exclusive and another on a multiplatform game.

Oh yeah, I didn't mean that. They're definitely big enough to handle 2 games, the "new title" I just meant was the one referenced in the video.
I wouldn't be surprised if we see reveal of their new exclusive this year at E3 or at PSX.

The trailer isn't in reference to a specific title if that's what you meant. The new IP could be a PS4 exclusive while the other team works on a mutiplat (like Armored Core), for example.

I guess you're right, I just took it that way they meant they'll reveal next new game (IP of their own, old or new) in 2017, but then again it's just video for recruiting jobs.

King's Field or Shadow Tower could make me jump into the VR bandwagon, FROM... Just saying.

From making Tenchu!? That would be ace. Still hoping for Bloodborne 2 but I don't think Miyazaki will work on it :(.

a plethora of franchises to pick from

I don't think their statement was invalid considering what we know about their games.
