SOOO....am I the only one losing Connection every now and then and getting kicked to the login page?

This always seems to happen when I'm in a match where my Team is dominating oddly enough.
 
Junkrat is so, so powerful. He's a lot like the demoman but with a lower skill ceiling and I wouldn't be surprised to see him get nerfed.

Like, I've been avoiding him because I found demoman to be one of my best in TF2 and Junkrat just doesn't feel as rewarding. Well, that, and I've played the demoman for hundreds of hours, I can play some of the others first.

Yeah, he's pretty strong right now. I think half of the plays of the game I've seen are him just driving his special into a wall but killing 3 or 4 people anyway.
 
ok managed to get my sound working and played a few rounds of the random mode

they should keep that around all the time, it seems good for picking up the characters
 
Fun stuff but I feel like the modes aren't as fun and very typical

Hoping for more modes that spread players out and don't feel so chaotic.
 
Just got a 19 kill streak with Diva, 4 kills of which were in one go with my ult.

Play of the match goes to Bastion sitting in tank mode. brahokalks

I had a similar thing hapen. I got a quadra kill with D.Va's ult (3 of which were full 100 damage kills) and it cleared the node and was the turning point for the game which we ended up winning. The play of the game went to a DIE DIE DIE triple kill that didn't even have majority damage on the kills.

Played my first three games today. This is the most fun I've had with a shooter since the early days of Destiny. It's incredibly chaotic, but it somehow holds together just fine and feels really polished.

Make a better play than that and you'll get that potg. It's a lot easier early on to get bastion/torb/dps ult potgs because people that are new to the game are shit at avoiding them, but all of those moves are so easily countered just by hearing the audio cues and positioning because of them once you know them.
That's the trade off you get for splash damage. I don't understand the complaint.

And the large fire rate difference.
 
so whats the reason for no scoreboard ? theres way too many casual elements in this game...

get rid of the shared kill mechanic and introduce assists
 
The 'Store' button is gone from the Loot Crate screen since the last beta; I'm guessing Blizzard is taking out any IAP options, if that's the case?
 
That's the trade off you get for splash damage. I don't understand the complaint.

I in no way care about the splash damage, let it stay 120, hell let it do 100. 120 on a direct hit with a rocket or grenade should be 200, specially at close range, specially when at close range i take damage from my own rocket/nade (tradeoff). You decrease the splash so people that spam them aren't as effective and you reward players that can actually aim. Thats the issue here

I would assume to stop people from treating it like TDM when the priority is objectives. Which people still do anyway.

Repeat every 15 minutes.

You'll lose your bets progress when it ends, so of course you can't spend any money.

If you don't care about splash damage why are you playing a character based on splash damage? Are we seriously going to go down the route about complaining about rocket launchers?

might aswell play widowmaker if your aim is that good
 
I'm loving this game so much but there are things that annoys me a lot and the campers who are using Bastion are one of them, also they should raise the maximum ammo capacity for Tracer, my fav class so far is Hanzo, it's like playing a whole different game

Big plays. If it's kills it'll be a strong ult or a marginally less strong non-ult. (Like a 4 kill reaper ult is a strong play, but a 3 kill non-ult killstreak over a couple seconds is also very strong). Pretty sure the damage you deal for each elim is part of this calculation, not 100% sure.

Then there are also POTGs for lifesavers (Killing someone that the game calculated is about to kill several people on your team, like sniping Pharah out of an ult aimed at 4 people), shutdowns (same kind of thing, lifesaver can be anything shutdown tends to be "JUSTICE RA-AHHHH" type stuff, lifesaver could be booping a charging reinhardt off a cliff).

Then healers get them for preventing a shitload of damage with ults or your ult allowing your team to wipe the other one. A mercy rez that hits 4+ people is almost guaranteed POTG for instance. If you guys 6v6 on the cart and you zenyatta ult and wipe them, that's a very good chance at potg. They've changed these calculations over time so I can't be 100% certain on all of this, and you see oddities, but healer potgs aren't as uncmmon as people think. The real issue is that right now everyone is new and a dps ult shuts down more people when nobody knows "IVE GOT YOU IN MY SIGHTS" means to fucking hide.

Even fi you don't, a good team will spread the instant they hear the sound and start aiming down the areas it might come from. Youdon't just ASSUME you're going to kill the tire in time, but you can minimize the damage it's going to do, the explosion isn't THAT big.

Been enjoying this game a lot it's nothing like any other FPS game. So far my favorite heroe is Mei she has it all and I just love freezing people especially Genji and Tracer. The ice wall she builds has sooo many uses even if it only stays up for a few seconds.
 
So many people are bitching about Hanzo being all luck, just like people bitch about huntsman snipers in TF2. lol

Every part of this is bad. A scoreboard would just encourage shit talking and attempted stat stuffing. Shared kills are great because they highlight teamwork. No one cares who got the most last hits in. There's no benefit to knowing who shoot someone in the toe that final time because that doesn't win games.
