Game comes out Tuesday, watch the footage on Monday, your making the biggest deal out of something that is a non deal.
By the time the embargo lifts and sites start putting it up it will be already release date time where I live só eh.

wait, people can't take their own screenshots?

so it's bullshots only?

lol
Yep. This is fine somehow because reasons. And apparently the footage counts as spoilers of it comes out tomorrow and it doesn't count if comes out monday. Because reasons.

Has there been any bullshots of this game ? Please enlighten me. I saw some screenshots of this game from people who play the game and it doesn't look like they have.

Yes. Sony's screenshots are supersampled and thus technically bullshots. The screens taken by users aren't, though.

I am predicting a 89 metecritic score, though I am going to enjoy this game regardless of anyone's opinion. ND have my trust after UC2, TLOU and UC3.

Because it's way easier to avoid spoilers being spread when a game is a day away instead of a week away. Plus that's when people in other regions will be playing the game officially so there's no sense in trying to avoid spoilers in reviews. Honestly if you're this concerned there's screenshots floating around from people that got it early, check them out.

Those were print-quality meant for print publications only that were accidentally released to everyone.
Good one Arne.

The time set on Monday is based on the global launch. If pre-launch footage is that important to you, then wait until Monday morning.

Can I PM you quick question I have about the game? You may be able to help me. Not too sure who to ask....

I think I'm the only one who loved the museum part of Uncharted 2. I loved everything about it, even on multiple playthroughs. Maybe it was the banter which was awesome.

Flynn was a great character.

I actually loved it too. Breaking into a museum and getting doubled crossed is so Indiana Jones. While there were slow parts, I feel Uncharted 2 had the perfect pacing. From the looks of things, this game has a lot more padding than the previous games and takes awhile to get going in terms of challenge.

A few of my friends have the game, whose opinions I value greatly (and whom have balanced opinions on the series as a whole) -- and they're all blown away by how good the game is. A few words they used over and over are "amazing", and "special". I think we're in the clear here for a terrific game.

I don't mind though. I really enjoyed the first part of TLOU (for example) all the way through, until Bill's Town, which seems to be disliked by many for its prolonged slow moments.

Summer is my fav part of the game.

...except nearly all the early user created screenshots have looked better than the official ones...

The only thing wrong with them? Some of them had minor spoilers.

You think ND is trying to harm the end user? There is zero to hide here. This game looks superb.

The only thing to be gained by limiting what screens can be used in reviews is to protect users from spoilers.

Why is everything a conspiracy these days? You have to ask yourself "who has something to gain?" In this case it's the end-user.

Since we aren't the actors in the potential conspiracy, then a conspiracy does not exist. The party who benefits, has no control.

if it's only done for spoilers it benefits no one except those who don't want to be 'spoiled' yet lack the self-control to stay away from uncharted 4 media

also, ask yourself "who has something to gain?" In this case it's the publisher by controlling all media and information before the game is able to be purchased

With the media embargo lifted on the 9th any one who really needs to see more of the game before release will have plenty of time to do so.

As someone who has put about 9 hours into the game, ND's not hiding anything.

The official media released up until this point actually doesn't do a decent enough job of showing how good the game looks. And I have some non-photomode PNGs of story mode trailer areas shots laying around on my HDD if people want that.

It benefits those who want to read reviews and not stumble upon something they consider a spoiler. And it allows for less of it to be out there which means there's less of a chance of getting spoiled.

Or maybe you're right and they are hiding Uncharted 4 away for some malicious reason because they haven't released enough media like a 15 min preview demo that you can watch now, or they didn't have a public beta for everyone to test out.

please show me where I said this..

oh wait

So only 8 hours left? Can't fckn wait! Not going to watch any (video)reviews, just curious about the scores.

My prediction 92, but despite its lower rating still praised as the best Uncharted game.

Looking forward to the select special few who complain about 9's.
No one will complain about a 9, but obviously some reviewers will score it lower, and I can't guarantee people won't complain about that...

People that complain about bullshots or that ND are hiding something, did you read impressions? all of them are really blown away by the visuals, a lot of them think it's the best looking game they've ever seen as well, so stop the nonsense, ND actually don't want us spoiled, they got nothing to hide technically, on the contrary.

It's a shitty ass practice and it shouldn't be encouraged or excused, no matter if the end results are good or not. It's not a good practice in any way imaginable.

Yes it is, less of a chance for us to get spoiled, I'm happy. Watch your footage on Monday, is it too long for you to wait a couple days after some scores go up? People complained about Naughty Dog showing too much with UC3 they do the opposite and people take issue again.

There was the first early video review posted in one of the other threads and there were some posters who were incredulous that it only got a 9.

I was smiling from ear to ear.

Hmm, just as well I thought to check Big W's catalogue as it'll be selling the standard edition for AUD$69, which is $50 cheaper than the Special Edition I have pre-ordered at JB HiFi. The extras aren't worth paying an extra ~73%.

Yeah...there will be complaints.

If "worst review I've ever read" doesn't hit the first three pages I'll be shocked.

Cool that will do.

God forbid Giant Bomb give it a 4/5 and every complains how it ruins the MetaCritic/OpenCritic average.
