The PC version of FF Type 0 had exclusive features.
Same for Lightning Returns.

I've been checking SteamDB and more specifically some of the leaked games. And Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD caught my attention.
It seems that the work on the game started 9 months ago and stopped 4 months ago... basically, 5 months of work, which is basically the time you'd expect for a port. But since 4 months, the game hasn't been updated on the database. Could they be sitting on it, waiting for IX to be released first ? Did they just cancelled it ? (well technically, you can't cancel what hasn't been announced) Or maybe they haven't finished it ! And are now taking time ?
I really find these leaks interesting in the sense that it basically shows when devs are working on a game and when they made progress significant enough to upload changes.
I think FFXII on PC will be a bonus preorder for FFXV
Really? Especially after the Database leak of Steam's that showed it being there wayyy before this announcement?
Well, this was certainly an unexpected piece of news to wake up to. And I don't want to sound mean, but where's my DQ8 and FF12 PC ports, SquareEnix?
Did pc miss one episode now (except 15 for now) ?
First, FF is not episodic. Second, no PC is still missing I, II, and XII for mainline titles.
Was thinking about getting it for Vita. Is it worth it for handheld?
Steam Cloud is confirmed, but cross-save with PS3/V/4 versions is highly unlikely. If you're lucky, someone will make a save-import tool, but don't count on it.I wonder if cross/cloud saving will be a feature. I'll still working through my console copy. In for sure if that's the case.
Excited to play my first FF game, bring it on![]()

Does the remaster fixes the 'no exp for party members not taking any action in battle' quirk?
I recall having to switch all of them for a single turn every single battle when I played the PS2 Int edition... Got old really fast.
It's not.

Probably not. But you don't really need like... 80% of the party.
Just use Meg Ryan, Auron, and maybe (mayyyyyyyyyyyyyyybe) Lulu if you need Black Magic. Otherwise use Wakka for Overdrive or Yuna if you want the (useless in the base version) Summons.
Otherwise Meg Ryan and Auron broke the game, especially Auron if you just leveled him and went through others stats.
Exploit still works. Theres a specific location it always triggers when walking over. Makes doing it a breeze.
I'm in just for the boosters. They're the only way to replay these 40+ hour games on my schedule.
What we're all the boosters?
