No deaths last night. That's good, because it means we might have possibly obtained one extra day before game would be in MYLO/LYLO situation. The reasons to no deaths could be:

1. Roleblocker hitting the killing scum of last night. Possible.
2. Protective power targeting the right person. Again, possible.
3. Scum trying to target me last night, when I was commuting. Seems unlikely, I had claimed out loud when I'm commuting.
4. Something else entirely.

So I think that Roleblocker or Protective power being the most likely scenarios.

Now that arsonist is dead, there is no more excuses for some of the people (mostly looking at Roy and Ouro) to not completely concentrate on the Scum Hunt.

The Motion Detection is fairly unreliable power right now, because the detectors have claimed. Any scum would do their best to evade using their powers while next to the detectors during the night, and also they might want to use their powers on the people sitting next to the detectors to make them look scummy. Looking at how Nin and Terra have acted so far in this game, I think this would be a fairly good tactic for the scum to take.

So I don't want to codemn Launch from being binged next to the Detectors. However, there is lot more shady stuff around him, especially the fact that his power seems to almost useless from town POV, especially since he couldn't pick the table.

Because if he didn't, it would make sense for him to not vote either scum weemad, or scum you. He didn't know who to prefer in saving, and would have looked bad to other scum by voting one of them, so scum might have accidentally killed him.

I agree that as a whole, Launch is pretty scummy. I said as much in post bit before, his power seems really useless from town POV, and the admission of receiving the drink so late is odd. I just think that relying too much on the motion detection results. For all we know, both of the people who nin was checking last night were scum, who just decided to not move.

I was commuting last night, so I wouldn't know (although I wouldn't know if I was targeted even if I was not commuting). It's possible there was no NK because scum tried to target me thinking I was lying, but I think that's little unlikely. I am not being sarcastic. Since both motion trackers claimed, both teams go into Night Actions knowing full well who will set off a motion tracker and who wouldn't. If Scum is not next to a motion detector, they can freely target those next to a motion detector with no repercussions. In fact, they can do so with benign powers to make said person look guilty. Even guiltier if a person was already dinged by a motion detector.

Easy scenario: You are a scum role blocker. At this point you have no real idea who the other PRs are with active abilities; Scrafty and Camjo are read; Ouro is on drink break. Previous night phase, Launch set off a motion detector (since we doubt Burbeting did). Who do you target?

You target Launch. Even if he has no PR, he looks like he does because twice in a row he set off a motion detector. If he does have a PR, his action fails AND he looks suspicious.


Or quite possibly Launch has a PR and is moving. Unless it was mandatory, he would be dumb to do it while next to a Motion Detector, unless it's an important role.

Or he is Scum doing something.

While I might think 2 or 3 are the most likely, 1 is not an option I am willing to dismiss. It's a good scum play, given Launch has several votes on him already.

Sure, they can also block the neutral roles, but the arsonist is more likely to benefit Scum and Ouro is basically harmless. His leaving is one less player they have to kill.

If the blocker is town, they're basically a pseudo-doctor. sure, they have to target the actionER instead of the actionEE, but they protect against NKs, Dousings and ... drinks.
