I wouldn't be so sure, especially if GF takes complaints about Fennekin's evolutions to heart.
What was wrong with Fennekin's evolutions? They all look good.

not bad

Is this real?

Should have been Fire/Psychic.What was wrong with Fennekin's evolutions? They all look good.
Ah, but X & Y and ORAS take place in a different universe to the other ones![]()
Should have been Fire/Psychic.
Greninja Water/Dark
Chesnaught Grass/Fighting
Dunsparce isn't boosted by Eviolite in X and Y, but now is in Sun and Moon because it has an evolution. Why would GF care about in-universe consistency in regards to Eviolite? They don't seem like mutually inclusive concepts, unless I'm missing something.
No, there is 2 universe, one with the big meteor crashing on the world (Mega stones come from it), and one without. It does? Since when?
Are we talking about what the girl said in ORAS Delta episode?
So is there going to be a new Universe everytime a new type or evolution to a old Pokémon announced and adjustments are made for the new types and evolution?

So Gen 1 threw 5 is the OG universe and Gen 6+ is the new universe?
So if we ever get a mainline game with any Mega's in it that'll mean we're in the OG Gen, is that correct?
Finally someone else that know's what's good

Nah, every game except ORAS is in the OG Universe. They just made up the dumb alternate universe thing to explain how there were mega Pokemon in Hoenn during ancient times.

what complaints? Fennekin's evoloutions are great.
The only Kalos starter evolution that didn't look good was Chesnaught IMO.

They ruined everything good about Fennekin.
I thought X&Y made it clear their were infinite universes? I seem to remember that being said.
Somebody (though it may have been just my roommate) said Gen 1&2 are thier own universe, hence why the remake games are still different from the originals.
nah you're tripping. Gen 6 starters are great, gen 6 has the best starters across all gens so far, only gen imo where no one is a stinker (which normally there is always at least one, sometimes all of them are stinkers, like gen 5's).

Made it clear how?
All I remember was some dumbass try to power up an old ass weapon some dude create 3,000 years prior to revive his dead Pokémon. I didn't hear anything about different Universe Until ORAS Delta mission.
I may have missed it or just don't remember it because XY lore and story is extremely forgettable.
Infinite universes is stupid and I kind of wish I never read Joe's post which made me think of it.
The multiverse shit is taken way too seriously anyway. I just looked at it as a cute reference in ORAS's story, I never saw people obsess over the Sevii Island retcon during Gen 3.
Eviolite wasn't introduced until Gen V though, so it's not a problem. Why is this a big deal? Gligar wasn't boosted by Eviolite before its evolution in Gen IV, and this was prior to Eviolite's debut in Gen V.

I thought Snivvy was pretty good in gen 5

Quite possibly. Would tie in with the fact that it has the symbol for sulfur/brimstone on its face.

Big ol' furbomb here we come.
But it's a cat.
Baby cat = kitten
Baby tiger = cub/whelp
So instead of Litten they should have called it Whelpyre.
Samurott can punch?

GameFreak doesn't like having Pokemon do things that they had no canon reason not to do before. It's why Leafeon doesn't evolve via leaf stone and why you need to use some dumb insense to make a Mantyke. So?
What am I missing? Why would this be a problem at all?
We can assume that Gligar has been able to have its stats boosted by the Eviolite since Gen 2, it's just that we didn't get the chance to try it out until Gen 5 because there was no Eviolite in previous games.Which is what I said...Even with the debut not being until Gen V, the example is still similar if you consider the point being about things Pokemon could do in Gen V that originally wasn't possible in their original gens.
The whole example you mentioned seems very arbitrary.
I thought Snivvy was pretty good in gen 5

I don't know, ask GameFreak. They seem to consider it a huge problem, to the point where they created a whole new universe to justify Mega Stones. I think it's really annoying personally, I hate having a Pokemon evolve via Ancient Power.I'm still failing to see how it would be a problem.
Growing pains. It's as much of a problem as Magnemite suddenly becoming weak to fire between two directly connected generations
I'm using Snivy now and Serperior is so unfulfilling..
I have to have a Miracle Seed on it to sweep. Its just not a fun Pokemon to use.
