Yeah, I don't understand where GameXplain is getting the idea that your house is the beach house. It's probably like every other Pokemon game where your home is one of the few nondescript buildings in the starting village with the lab.

Most likely they thought this because it looks like the trainer meets the professor's assistant on the path north of that building before getting their pokemon, but it makes more sense that the trainer is just on their way home after arriving in Honolulu by boat.

I'm going to take a guess and say it's got nothing to do with the Sun or the Moon literally and rather enters some sort of what those objects are as symbols. They've already done that concept with Ruby and Sapphire.

I remember Gen 4 feeling like it was around for a long time. We had DP, Platinum, HGSS, and so many spin-offs. Gen 5 and 6 didn't feel that long. We only got two games and only a few spin-offs.

This and Ichinose's involvement are the two things I want the most. I've already accepted Ken Sugimori getting phased out big time this gen.

EDIT: Though, Masuda's had big involvement in my favourites and least favourites as well. Can't say for sure who's the best at directing, IMO.

NoA actually doesn't handle the localization of Pokmeon, it's TPCi. However, TPCi has at least turned some dialogue into joke dialogue, even a couple of memes. Don't think TPCi would do that for the Pokemon.

I think people like to think the Omanyte picture in Mr. Stone's office in ORAS is a reference to TPP, though. If it is, it's very subtle. But considering he collects rocks and stuff, and Omanyte is a Fossil Pokemon it could be completely unrelated.

Nah, that's the one I was referring to, but the one they meant is just a tiny helix icon on a brown poster/background hung on a wall somewhere.

Edit: Oh right, he also gives you the Pidgeotite, so y'kow, Pidgeot + Omanyte. But I don't really buy into it.
