Guys, come on. Relax. It's just one game. I know most of the country is rooting for the upset, but it's still a long shot. GSW is just too good.

I don't know if OKC winning is a long shot tbh. Curry's penetration hasn't looked great since the knee injury and OKC defended the 3 fairly well in the second half.

Also Durant usually torches Golden State so I don't think he'll play this badly again in the series.

Warriors in 5. But fuck man, I'd love to see KD and Westbrook get rings.

Warriors won 24 straight to start the season, but didnt' look nearly as good at the end of the season and definitely not in the playoffs. Three close games with Portland who is mediocre at best, and OKC seems to be peaking. I know they are handicapped by Donovan, but with those two stars playing at a high level it wouldn't be a surprise if they move on to the Finals.

Just goes to show you how many god-awful teams there are in the NBA. Eastern conference playoffs are a complete joke.

How fucking lame would it be if Golden State got knocked out of the playoffs after finishing with the best regular season record of all time?

Don't fuck this up, GS.

Regular season win totals don't mean a thing. GS was struggling (due to injuries, but that happens to all teams) against Portland. Bulls in 92 (IMO) were better than the 72 win Bulls team. They just didn't have the benefit of expansion teams showing up in the league and having younger guys enter the draft all in the same time.

Everybody points at the win totals and compares them to earlier years. "Well actually this team won this and this many games". No kidding. You got X amount of teams you are gonna get approximately the same win totals every year, even for bad teams. Doesn't mean the teams are just as good. If you think GS and their 73 win team is the greatest team in NBA history, you have the attention span of a 5-year old and no knowledge of basketball history.

That's odd that you bring up 5-year old attention spans and no basketball knowledge while waving around the Portland series as the gospel of Golden State's fraudulence. A series they won in 5 games without Curry for most. Some people would call coming back from a 4th quarter deficit without your best player a sign of the team's fortitude but not you I'm sure.

Well you have to keep in mind that he's a real basketball fan and not a poser like everyone else.

portland isnt a good team and has one of the worst defensive backcourts of all-time but gs was clearly fucking around for a lot of that series and still swept them in 5

A lot of drive-by posts from people coming out of the woodwork to laugh at Steph today.

C'mon guys, you know god loves him more than any of us, of course he'll bounce back.

OKC can pull this out if their bigs can make free throws and westbrook plays under control. its crazy how talented they can be if everyone is clicking. Also i wonder if Harden would ever head back to OKC then KD and westbrook re-up. I saw a special on him and he is still sad about being traded. He is sure enough making enough from adidas to offset whatever pay cut would come.

oh christ

I want OKC to win because I think it'll be easier for my raptors to win the finals that way, but steph is gonna come back next game and drop 50. watch.

until i see either a 3-1 or 3-0, i ain't gonna count GS out. in fact, i expect them to drop 40 on OKC and then cruise to a 1-4. at the very least a 2-4.

I want to be wrong, but we've seen this plenty of times.
