Forced reaction videos are going to happen regardless after last year, but I think a certain mascot would be cause for amusing reactions.
We really don't need any more console FF games except FFXVI. I hope Tabata can work on a Parasite Eve style game. 3rd Birthday is crap but it's not his fault. He didn't write the story, in fact I recall the game itself is quite fun.

I'm sure Captain Jean-Luc Picard would top Morgan Freeman, although that is a brilliant trailer I have to admit.
You'd see meltdowns of epic proportions if that were the case.
While waiting for the presentation to start they should have the Crash jungle theme playing to get Crash hype going. Going through the presentation they should have no hints or illusions as-to Crash coming back. When the presentation is good and done, they will say "that's it" and leave the stage. In the back they can watch the meltdown and heartbreak on the faces of people because of no Crash. Then, just as people are about to accept it and start leaving, start playing the crash theme again, come out and say "one more thing". BOOM Dreams 2.0.

Playing the N.Sanity Beach theme would be the biggest giveaway. I think Sony got away with it at the PlayStation Meeting in 2013 with Cerny's entrance when they revealed the PS4, but at E3 where they will announce games, it's unlikely they'd blatantly put it out there like that.

RDR has no chance of selling even a third of what GTAV did even if it is multi-platform.
with the lead PS4 has worldwide, I wouldn't be shocked, though it is extremely unlikely

The first RDR sold 15m+. You know how much GTA used to sell before V? 20-25 tops. See that growth? So yeah, i think it has a great chance of selling at least a third of GTA V.

If Square had a press conference I would be more optimistic but now not so much. I don't think they would do a full trailer for it and not appear on a conference but I think they would rather have XV, Deus Ex and WOFF on stage to sell the games that are actually coming out.

I still think Crash at the Microsoft stage would cause the bogger explosion. Probably wouldn't be able to.log into my computer with how down the internet may be.

The reality is that the interest in Crash is squarely from the Sony/Naughty Dog years of the franchise. If it's announced at the MS conference then that automatically rules out any part of those years returning. The franchise wouldn't be dead right now if people actually gave a shit about the Activision/Universal/Konami/Vivendi years of the franchise.
And then announce Medievil PS4 by FromSoftware.

That actually kinda reminds me of the Kenji Eno story. He appeared at a Sony event where he was supposed to announce a game for the PSone. The PS logo appeared, but then it morphed into the Saturn logo and he announced that his game would actually be exclusive to the Saturn.
This is how you create enemies/rivalries. I love it.
A small portion of dedicated internet & gaming communities getting hyped or getting the masses of people hyped? HL3 will come when VR matures more. Crash is now.

Last year PSX I thought was very good and I was shocked to see the amount of lukewarm or negative reception to the conference. Event that is not E3 and yet still had:
-Uncharted 4 new footage
-Final Fantasy 7 R first in-game trailer
-Full Throttle
-Nioh announcement trailer for west
-Ratchet trailer
-Ace Combat 7
-Yakuza 0
-Ni No Kuni 2
And bunch of other games. Sure, there were some pacing issues, awkward VR demoing and I wouldn't have ended on Paragon CGI trailer when there was a gameplay trailer they had anyway. But I thought it was easily better than many E3 conferences from the big 3 I have seen. I can't imagine what the reception for E3 2016 will be if it's as ''bad'' as this.

I do not want to speculate if they can top 2015, but one thing is sure, Sony hqve the studios power and franchise diversity to atleast match 2015!
