Yeah, disappointing. The price you pay when you make everything from scratch, apparently. There's a chance that things like dynamic weather and time will be included with future updates, just as Driveclub. It makes sense to support the game this way for another 3 years (PS4 life cycle, I suppose) rather than releasing Gran Turismo 7 or Sport 2.0, it's a common business model this gen. Same applies to game modes.
I'm more saddened by the amount of cars. I can agree that 1000 cars were not necessary but only in GT I could race with true classics and read about their stories. I don't want that to be missing or added later with a DLC because I'm not going to buy it. :|
Let's be positive and see it this way: Sport is another, different branch for Gran Turismo and the GT7 we were waiting for is still coming, with hundreds of cars from all ages and every feauture we can dream of. This way, I'd buy both.. but Sport alone doesn't seem enough.
