We shouldn't forget that Sony has Gamescom/Paris Games Week, Tokyo Game Show and PlayStation Experience.
Are they doing both gamescom and pgw this year? Tokyo game show sony usually has third parties handle that and have like a highlight reel of their first party titles. PlayStation experience is where the magic happens tho.

They will do one of the other. I am assuming Gamescom this year as we already known as this stage last year they moved to Paris Games Week. Sony did have a TGS conference for Japan and other for Asia. They announced Gravity Rush Remaster and Gravity Rush 2 last year.

O no I know they have a conference I was saying mostly it consists of other jap devs showing their stuff, it gives them a chance to shine.

They skipped GC last year because there were only 6 weeks between E3 & GC.
This year there are 10 weeks between them so I think Sony will hold a conference at GC.

As for Crash, clearly something is happening. At minimum, I could see this just being a licensing agreement with Activision. I've said this before, but remember that early last year, Eurogamer reported on PS1/PS2 emulation on PS4 with enhanced graphical features and trophies. Then BAM! The PS2 portion of that patent quietly appeared along side the Star Wars: Battlefront PS4 bundle (with Star Wars: Bounty Hunter, Star Wars: Jedi Starfighter, and Star Wars: Racer Revenge). Then, weeks later PS2 emulation was officially announced. If that was real, surely the PS1 aspect is as well. So, like I was saying, at minimum, I could see all this Crash teasing to be part of a licensing agreement with Activision, which would allow Sony to have Crash games be the flagship PS1 titles for PS4 (and maybe Vita). Yes, I know this type of thing would not (or should not) warrant the amount of teasing, but I think it would be better than nothing. If Sony did acquire Crash, I think all of the above would still happen.

As said before, I don't think Sony would drum up so much noise just for some ports. We could get ports but they could just announce a new game as well.

Since we are talking games we are interested in here mine(officially announced or leaked):

Horizon Zero Dawn
Nier Automata
Gravity Rush 2
The Last Guardian
Persona 5
God Of War IV
Detroit Become Human

What Remains of Edith Finch
Wild

Dead Don't Ride is kinda there too, but hard to say I'm really interested in a game with basically no info.
The bolded, plus Shenmue 3, NMS, NNK2 and Abzu are pretty much day 1 for me. That's crazy for (console)exclusives.

TGS last year was probably best they ever had. Tons of great announcements and very fast paced. On par with their E3 effor as far as I'm concerned. The only wart for me was the Umbrella Corps announcement. Not the fact that the game exists or anything but the way they announced it was in poor taste.

Why people belive that PS4 Neo will be announced in this E3 and released late this year?

I don't think it will happen until q2 2017 at earliest. Prove me wrong. (Sony has plenty of first party games and Skorpio isn't coming until fall 2017)

You can very easily flip that argument on its head.

Anything Xbox does at the moment doesn't matter due to how well the PS4 has sold, and having first party games doesn't mean anything. We know that every game will get a Neo-mode, and so there being a lot of games coming out doesn't harm a PS4K releasing at the end of this year.

not really interested in:-
GTsport
the tomorrow children
Dreams
TLG
NMS
Hotshots
Detroit

For me it's all about:-
Horizon
Neir A
Nioh
GR2
GOW
Whatever Sucker punch is working on.
Possibly Sony bends project.

^^ this is the true power of the PlayStation brand. Even if you're not interested in most of their trademark IPs, there are still enough left.

I am getting really excited for this E3 in general and of course I'll stay up at 3 am to see Sony's press conference. Hope I'll get back to sleep afterwards, unlike last year...

Playing Crash 2 right now and it blows my mind someone thinking it doesn't hold up or even worse, that it was never good.

I mean opinions and all but damn, this is easily top tier when it comes to platformers. Simple fun. I can't imagine anyone having convincing arguments that it's garbage even if they don't personally like it.

Yeah, I replayed Crash Bandicoot 2 last year for the first time in probably 15 years and I too really can't understand people on GAF who say Crash have always have been mediocre or crap.

Because what the software development division does in terms of product output has no major correlation with what the hardware division makes in terms of calendar throughput, especially for a hardware that will be BC?

Also, Scorpio has no real bearing to this. Neo exist in spite of Scorpio and NX, not because of it.

I usually watch the conference (3:00 in the morning where i live) and take the day off. It's quite fun. When the conference ends, i read some Neogaf and when the daylight starts to come up, i go to sleep. I've been doing it for a few years but i'm not sure what i'll do this year. I guess i'm not as excited as previous years or something. Maybe i'll stay off the internet and watch the conference after work. Or i might take the day off. Not decided yet.

Usually I'd keep my expectations in check (expecting maybe 1 or 2 big things, not necessarily earth shattering or anything or stuff of dreams) because of this reason, but Gopher's post, and his poem has made a lot of people (including myself) basically disregard that.

Went back and looked at Shu's comments about SOCOM at PSX. I swear he's so good at just leaving the door ever so slightly open for just the last glimmer of hope. He had to qualify no SOCOM anouncment by saying it wasn't coming "anytime soon". Has it been long enough since then??

All I want is Sony to continue diversifying their output and keep providing experiences for those of us who aren't into shooters.

Last year was absolutely fantastic for that--easily the best E3 in years.

You do know the story behind WiLD dont you? I wouldn't anticipate it too much, if it even comes out, it is a long time away.

WiLD is the game from Michel Ancel, you are prob talking about RIME, Tequila Works Raul Rubio game who is been rumoured to have a shit show development cycle, which is a huge bummer

Can't wait.

Yeah, he has to be thinking of Rime unless he knows something that we don't about Wild. I haven't read anything about Wild having development difficulties.

Yep. I've said many a time, I'm not really a big fan of WWS output. But PlayStation as a brand has something for everyone, which is something both Microsoft and Nintendo simply don't get.

Lol somebody is a RPG fan I see.

More Japanese game design tbh. But yeah, starting to get into Action RPGs as stylish Action is pretty much dead now.

Same. I want my PS4 to be more than a fighting game machine with occasional detours like Uncharted (I'm currently debating on if I should get Overwatch on PS4 or wait until I get a decent PC).

My predictions
TLG trailer + release date
Horizon trailer + delayed date
Wild trailer + delayed date
GT Sport trailer
Sony Bend Ip announce + trailer
Sucker Punch Ip announce + trailer
GOW4 announce + trailer
RESIDENT EVIL 7 announce + trailer

Doubt
Detroit Become Human first gameplay trailer
Ninokuni 2 release date + trailer gameplay
FFVIIREMAKE trailer gameplay
Shenmue 3 trailer gameplay
PS4K or PS4 Neo announce + release date

.......and........

CRASH finally!

I'm really looking forward to this E3, I can't wait to see more of the Final Fantasy 7 Remake, hopefully they show more of it at E3 2016.

Sony's E3 2015 was the best E3 ever IMO, Shenmue 3 and the Final Fantasy 7 Remake still haven't sunk in.

I doubt they announce PS4 Neo in E3 if they are supposed to release it in Autumn or so. I also think it's too soon to see Shenmue III gameplay, but we may get a small update on it.

Am I the only one that thinks PS4Neo won't happen? (maybe I'm still living in denial)
Everyone in this thread are kinda sure from what I can see.
