Yea I saw that interview, but that could just be him saying anyone younger than him... which is a lot of people.
Im pretty sure it is for all ages. Yup, Im p sure.
Matter fact, Im convinved that's what it is, an E for everyone show. Yup.
Oh wow. I have no idea how I missed that small scene before the next episode preview until now, the tone's already set amazingly well. It reminded me a bunch of the History of Trunks special when Trunks is out of breath and hiding/running from the androids and has his back against the wall.
Now i'm even more hyped!
On another note i'm kind of suprised at how many folks i've seen outside of GAF assume Trunks has blue hair because he's a Super Saiyan Blue. I know it's different to his Z colour but i'd have thought people would just assume his hair colour has changed rather than it being that, I mean it's not like it's spiked up or anything.
Now i'm even more hyped!

While they'd be hard to gather I guess they could use the Super Dragon Balls to send him back to his own timeline if worst came to worst.
At the end of the arc, they gonna ask to whatever they need to because they can to send him back to his timeline.
There is 0 chance for Trunks to stay with the crew and there is 0 chance he's gonna die.
I don't think it's going to be that dark but the whole menace will be.
About Trunks power, since he's half Saiyan, his gonna catch up with Goku and Vegeta with some training. Maybe not to go Blue but Red is a possibility. (Just remember in the Cell arc how he become stronger than Vegeta in the same time lap).

Dragon Ball is most definitely for kids.
But that's not a mark against it.
People who see that as an attack against it are way too defensive.
Evengelion was also originally for kids. lol

The Trunks segments already have a better art direction than most of super.

One thing that sticks out is that there is a ton of animation, all of the stuff with "Black" has so much going on. With 47 looking to be very high quality and even today's episode being pretty good(especially for a Yashima episode) it really makes me wonder why last week had a huge drop in quality. I'm guessing either they pulled animators that would have worked on that episode and had them work on 47 or they have been experimenting with the schedule during this down time between arcs and decided to see if Kitano had what it took to be relief animator like Yashima, which would explain why it had so few animators working on it compared the the episodes around it.
If it was the latter then that specific experiment failed hard.

Wow, I'm getting goosebumps by the preview alone. Especially that awesome music. So desperate ;_;
Can't wait for Future Trunks to meet up with real Trunks.
Oh and please Toei, take the time travel aspect to the max. Bring back old villains and make them team up with Goku and Co. to beat the threat that is Goku Black. So. Much. Potential.

They are probably going to screw it up.
These series are for kids, specifically boys between the ages of 8 and 11. Japan have different standards from us in the US, which is why content that seemed for teens or adults here get market towards children there. For example. One Piece have slavery, genocide, racism, and other adult themes, yet Oda makes it for young boys and even says it's for children. It even airs after Super on Sunday mornings.
Although, Japan has gotten more strict about violence, which was why Kai was edit.

Nah, it's much broader than that. Looking at the Japanese page about shounen manga, it goes from elementary school age range to high school.

Going by the subtitled preview for E47,
Future Bulma luckily does not seem to die. Or else it wouldn't make much sense to say "Please hang on."

But let's acknowledge that DB Super has been much lighter in tone compared to DBZ.
-Very little real violence/blood
-No major sense of desperation.
The poster can come to appreciate the series taking a more serious tone. It was nice to see the preview not feature the same music as usual, too.
There seems to be no signs of Goku Black in the episode preview.
Considering Trunks only has enough fuel for a one-way trip, maybe Goku Black will appear in the main timeline? Maybe this Black creature thing will somehow sneak itself on board the time machine and posses Goku in the main timeline. That would at least be a way for the other characters to get the spotlight.

I'm excited for the tone shift as well.
Vegeta not knowing what that was seems kind of hard to believe unless he really ignored baby Trunks.

Future Trunks better not leave us when this saga is finished. It will only lead to more questions in 5 years once multiple sagas have passed. He doesn't need to be a mainstay like Goku, Piccs, & Geets but at least pop in from time to time like Supreme Kai. Hope he stays connected with everyone.
If they make a new Dragonball Super / Z movie, I hope it tells the story of Future Trunks from Cells death - Goku Black.

Considering virtually nobody knew he could turn SSJ, including Goku, it's safe to say he wasn't nearby the earth for a while, during those 3 years.

You can't just one day decide it will be different for no reason. It would be like if Yamcha suddenly turned into a redhead, or Goku suddenly had green hair
That said, Bulma's hair also kind of changed in Super. It was greenish in Z, totally blue here. It's different in this case because Kid Trunks still has purple hair, though.

It's not quite the same, blue is a similar color to purple and it's the same color of hair as his mother.

It'd be more like if they suddenly gave Yamcha brown hair - different but still fairly similar to his old one. Color changes aren't that rare in long running manga based franchises that don't have an anime constantly on air. I guess manga being black and white plays into that.
Look at Lupin III's Fujiko, who goes from brunette to blonde or redhead sometimes. Natsumi from the Sgt.Frog manga went from being a redhead to having pink hair in later volumes. The new Jojo anime didn't stick with the colors established by the 90s OVA.

Might be a coincidence, but they certainly look similar enough.
its safe to assume past bulma could make the same fuel as future bulma. One, because this series has been dealing with time travel since Resurrection F, and Two because we already saw bulma making it when Monaka arrived a few episodes ago

This is why Trunks has blue hair now, Toriyama's always given Trunks and Bulma the same hair color and now that Bulma's hair is blue so is Trunks's.

Eventual time-skip confirmed? I would kind of love Future Trunks going back to the past and finding out present Trunks is the same age he was when he went back to fight Frieza.
