The game seems super blurry on PC too. :S
It runs really well though.

If it makes you feel better (and it shouldGarrett Hawke posted some downsampled PC screens on the previous page that look pretty stunning so it should be fixable provided you have the hardware for it. I was OK with the graphics on PS4 when I played the beta, but seeing that made me more than a little jealous.
Watched some of the Giant Bomb Quick-Look, and while it did look like there's plenty of parkour goodness to be found here, it looked very simplistic.
Do new areas of the open world open up with more complex routes that require more advanced moves? Are more complex routes only available in later areas of the world to account for the need to unlock special moves, or are those possibilities scattered all over the open world? And how far in do you have to play to be able to explore the full map at your leisure?
Last bit, the visuals in the Quick-Look looked very blurry, and with a very aggressive depth of field effect. I'm hoping that this isn't the case on PS4 because it makes everything look rough.
When does the embargo end?
I feel like a large part of why people feel this game is less "clean" than the original visually is because at this point any image of it that you get shown is going to be running with 8xMSAA at 4K or above, down sampled to 1080p.
To show what that can do for this game, I took some down sampled shots, and the game is utterly gorgeous. You can also see how the textures are much improved from the beta.
Good news as well is that you get around 30fps on ultra on a 970 at 4K, so hopefully a 1070 will be enough for 4K 60fps at reduced settings!
Those grid nodes are really fun.Well I just got to the point where the rest of the story missions are gated offbut it said my story progression at that point was 52% which is kind of scary because I feel like it was just a few missions.when you have to track down what happened to Icarus
So far my absolute favorite are the grid nodes because it's a huge climbing puzzle with lasers that kind of reminds me of having to figure your way up to the top of the atrium in the original.
What is wrong on PC with cutscenes?
Don't know why the consensus is this is well optimized. For GPUs, maybe.
AMD FX-6300 (6 core) at 4.4ghz + GTX 970 is stuttering. Ultra, high, and medium all perform the same. Only low is better. Even with a 30fps lock the framerate is almost but not completely stable.
This is the only game I've ever played on this PC that doesn't maintain at minimum a solid 30fps at high / ultra.
I really liked the mission where you climb the anasi tower, that was pretty awesome.
Moved it to my SSD, and things are definitely better. Could be a specific issue with my computer. Windows 10. Disregard my complaint unless corroborated by other people.Windows 7 or 10?
To be honest it hasn't stuck out to me yet. The ambient music when running around is fine and the dash/time trial music is good too. But I would've liked stronger ambient music I think - something more along the lines of AC2/B in volume rather than something like AC:Syndicate. Thanks for the impressions, everyone. Curious to see how it reviews tomorrow.
One question: how's the music?
Can anybody tell me what mission EA access ends on? I just finished the main game. As far as I can tell, playing the trial period to story completion ends up being aboutpurely in terms of story length. This is however not including side missions or anything extra.40 percent
does it get better or more of the same?

If I remember correctly it ends on a mission called."Find Icarus"
I finished the trial and absolutely love the game, but I am super curious how it reviews as well. I don't really care about reviews, but ME is such a unique game that I am curious to see how it is received among reviewers. I am expecting very polarizing reviews. I think it is going to depend greatly on how reviewers go into the game, as it is more a racing game than an action game. Thanks for the impressions, everyone. Curious to see how it reviews tomorrow.

In terms of what? Gameplay or story?
Gameplay.
Does the game basically go:
- Accept Mission
- Travel Here
- Climb/Figure out where to go
- Lockdown (Fight)
- Run Away
Until the game ends?

I somehow don't think this will review very well, might be between 65 - 70%
Essentially how the entire game goes. There are a few missions that deviate from this structure, but at the end of the day it is mostly going to a certain point, and then running away from KrugerSec.
The final mission is pretty decent in terms of platforming and running, however I feel like many people are going to find the ending itself EXTREMELY disappointing.
Review copy or a non-U.S. region? I'm jealous!Working my way through the full game right now, so I'll post the exact amount of missions when I am done. I'm further than the locked point for EA access, so we'll see soon enough!

To complete only the main story the game took me about7 to 7.5 hours.
I would say it is worth it if you want more Mirror's Edge and enjoyed the trial (if you played it). However, if you are looking for a fulfilling story, definitely look elsewhere as I feel that it was a major disappointment. On the content side, there seems to obviously be loads to do, with the side missions and collectibles looking like they will add another sizeable chunk to the game (from what I can tell atleast another 5-10 hours, however it could be more).
Furthermore, there are the community goals and challenges as well as perfecting your times on the levels and extras, both of which adding a great deal of replayability depending how much you obviously care about those things.
Is it worth full price for everybody? Probably not...however there are worse games you could be spending your time and money on. My predictions for the review average is about 70 percent as well, as I do see some people not liking it too much.
No cliff hanger ending right?

.
Considering this is probably the last ME game ever, I hope they were smart enough to give Faith a proper ending.
I liked the Mirror's Edge 1 ending scene with the music so this is sad news. I'll try to avoid spoilers.Essentially how the entire game goes. Is the open world actually "big" or is it just an illusion of the map scale-wise?
One important question, does it have new game plus?? Also, did you max out/unlock every skills by doing side quests + main mission? No cliff hanger ending right?
Woa what.... no wonder why the Trial was capped at 6 hours
