It looks really great for a 60fps game.

hopefully the final version will have better AA. The AA looks quite bad for the cars in the show room menu.... reminds me of PS3 versions..
Those graphics are insane!
And at 60 fps... I can't believe people calling this bad lmao. I must've watched a different trailer than everyone else.
Hard to say since it's a steaming vid, but I see some pretty noticeable aliasing/shimmer
Like on the front of the orange car at 0:20, fence at 1:12, etc.
How many cars in a race? Also, what does captured on ps4 mean? Replay?
the hype begins to slowly ascend <3
Good god! Your DC pics in the console screenshot thread are jaw dropping. I can only imagine the great stuff you'll be able to do with GTS. Looking forward to it!
There is still something odd about the way that the cars move on the track, almost like they have no connection with the road surface, and the way the cars spin and lose momentum off track, hopefully it's just the way the cars appear in replay mode.
GT threads are nuts!
It's looks mediocre or its looks like the cats whiskers.
The reality is, at least in terms of looks, it's somewhere in the middle, certainly looks better than the last trailer though.

The muh Driveclub posts are some great examples for the next "Why are devs still making 30fps games" thread.
GT Sport will not require PS plus?
Pretty boring and mundane trailer. I don't know what all the fuss has been about though, the game looks perfectly reasonable. I mean its running on a PS4 @ 60fps, not SLI 1080's. It was never going to wow like some of the old games did.
GT always blew us away in every generation it was shown. it was always up there with being one of the best looking game on a ps console. Gts is not even close to being the best looking 60fps game on ps4.
The only other game I can see directly comparable to this is Project Cars. Graphically they are about the same, except for dynamic lighting. Yet PCars has dodgy framerate so its all trade offs.
GTS currently has a dodgy frame rate too. Kaz says he is aiming for 60fps, but Kaz says a lot of things. People assume GTS will be a rock-solid 60fps but GT5 & 6 suggest otherwise.
What posts are you even talking about? Or are you characterizing anybody unimpressed as delusional? The people saying it looks bad need to be ignored. They don't have a clue. They're just on their high horse thinking any racing game going forward needs to look better than DriveClub while having having 20+ cars on the track and maintaining a 60fps rate at 1080p. They're delusional.
Yep, which is why I compare it to Forza mostly, as that doesn't drop a frame. Both Forza and GTS have AA issues.GTS currently has a dodgy frame rate too. Kaz says he is aiming for 60fps, but Kaz says a lot of things. People assume GTS will be a rock-solid 60fps but GT5 & 6 suggest otherwise.

Does anyone know if Driveclub supports the G29 with Clutch + shifter? I'm thinking of getting a G29 for PCars and Driveclub (and now GT:Sport)
If memory serves me right, driveclub doesn't support a clutch, but you can use a shifter. Might be wrong on this.Anyone??
Because, I guess, you'll see more at E3.Why are the all these E3 trailers coming before E3? I would have liked to see them during the conferences..
This trailer looked better than the last one but PD has done much better trailers in the past.
Not sure about the captured on PS4. So far in screens and trailers, we've seen 20 cars simultaneously on the track.

Some are wondering if the trailer was supersampled...

Thank's fella.Hi there, cooldawn. Welcome to NeoGAF, that's a great first post!
Sorry fella but I never compared DriveClub to GT Sport, or any of those games because your right...it's not like-for-like. Besides that, it was my first ever post! It's always nice seeing people come with comparisons. Like, hey, this is 60fps, don't compare it to DC! Okay, but we can compare DC to Project CARS or Forza. Or we could, back when GT Sports didn't even exist and people were thinking next GT would be DC at 60fps.
But let's get DC aside. Now we compare it to Project CARS. Hey let's forget about advanced physics, heat modelling, damage modelling, or about dynamic weather and time. Let's forget about everything that is not convenient enough.
Then we compare it to iRacing, just because. And yeah, the game wins. My mom wins against iRacing when it comes to graphics. Now, could you please compare what's under the hood for both games? Ah, no, you forgot to do that.
Yeah, GT Sport is aimed at eSports, but it's definetely not competing for the sim sector because it's not a sim.
So PD are now showing full real time trailers instead of supersampled ones as they usually do?
Still looks bad.
damn this is by far the most unimpressive showing of gt on a nextgen console graphically.
Look alright, expected far better from PD.
I wouldn't use 60fps as the excuse until they're actually locked at that speed. To me it looks decent but not good enough to explain such a shaky framerate. This is what you get for 60fps on console. Not really that much to do with PD.
