Zelda U/NX promo image leaks from Amazon.com

I'm getting a real Zelda 1/2 illustrated over wold map vibe from this image. Especially the buildings in the background.

Can. Not. Wait.

NX gimmick confirmed:

As soon as I saw this thread I clicked on it with the swiftness. Almost a reflex. I'm too weak to go on blackout for this.
Image looks nice. Can't wait till tuesday.

RIP Linkle.

Well Linkle is not female Link :p
Apart from this nitpicking, while I'm really against a female Link, this doesn't confirm anything. Male Link will be the main guy in promo/marketing shots whatever happens, female Link or not.

Wow, I guess Aonuma wasn't kidding when he talked about inspiration from Ubisoft games.

Climb towers to reveal the map confirmed!

Just kidding. Hyped!!

I've always hoped they took climbing further to something like SotC, SS kind of had that, but if it's an even bigger part of the game, I'm hyped. Or maybe it's just a drawing :P

This art is perhaps my favorite thing that they've shown so far. Then again, it's also one of the only new mechanics they've shown.

If this Zelda enables exploration via gliding, riding, running, swimming, and climbing, I'll be very happy.

This is why I laugh when people act like they're going to be reserved about this game, let it be known when Nintendo start streaming on Tuesday those same people are going to lose their minds, and why shouldn't they? It's Zelda.

I've been hoping for Zelda to take on a few elements of Western design for awhile, but Uncharted or Assassin's Creed are not the games that I hope that it steals from.

Rockstar. I want it to steal from Rockstar. Specifically RDR.

The game is beautiful, to be sure, and I'm all ready for a new console Zelda, especially considering that I haven't liked one since Wind Waker, but as hype as these screens get me, I need to see it in action, specifically combat and world traversal.

Their making a point about open world in this picture.

I wonder how exploration is going to be like? I hope theres no pointer on the top screen telling you were to go. I rather just open the map screen or talk to a NPC to figure out where to go

People are being sarcastic or do they really think that he is looking masculine in this artwork?
I mean, the others were masculine imo but in this one he has such a feminine look.

But let's talk about what matters....Hype inflated now and I dat Hyrule Castle.

This artwork has not been added to NoA's press site... yet.

Dat giant sword

By the way, what's that obviously evil construction above the circle? Ganon's lair, or Castle Town in blockade?

And I don't think that's a giant Master Sword. It's definitely a tower, and a pretty notable one - maybe like Tower of the Gods from WW. The new Zelda has WW-style outpost towers, after all, according to TGA 2015 demo.
