I'd be surprised if it wasn't $400. 2TB HD and UHD blu ray player.
$379/£340 max or they might as well leave.

Both
Then hit me with your logic. If you're going to draw that conclusion then I'll make a similar one. Since Sony publicly confirmed the existence of Neo, then that means it's not that far out.
Even has the apple naming scheme
While I think every MS hardware design has been hideous: the original Xbox, 360, every controller they released... I actually find every X1 design very good and attractive. I love this one.
This is no ordinary revision, and PS VR further complicates your analogy.
They're setting up PS VR as the Christmas gadget to get this year, and Neo would muddle that launch.
They need PS VR to be as successful as it can be, even if it means postponing Neo to early 2017.
Call me weird, but 2TB is too much for me. I only have 500GB on my PS4 and PC and its more than enough for me and I'm a digital only guy. That hard drive would drive the cost up.
the slim xbox 360 was also "360 S"

2tb, 4k, slim...
Must be expensive as fuck, 450 at best
Same thing, just depends if you want to decode on the console or your AVR. Decoding on the AVR will light up your DTS HD light
DTS HD is a lossless compression that decides to PCM.
Some AVRs can't decode DTS HD so may as well decode on console and enjoy the lossless audio through the AVR as PCM. All AVRs will play PCM.
Got it, thanks! Since my receiver only has 'regular' DTS, I guess I'll stick w/ LPCM.
If the GS leak is legit, $449 is it.2tb, 4k, slim...

Well thats suicide right there. If the GS leak is legit, $449 is it.
If they want to compete with sony it will have to be around that.NAh, I still think this thing will be $299. $349 at most.
I agree it doesn't. But from a consumer budget point of view it does make sense.True it's not identical. I am expecting it out this year and might be launched the same time as the VR bundle. A Neo/VR bundle for $699 might be possible.
I expected Neo is to help with VR on the console and releasing it later doesn't make sense.

Guys, has any console manufacturer released a "slim" version of a console that is more expensive than the model its replacing?
Why tell the general public it exists this soon and take the risk of current system sales slowing down because people just might wait it out?
Because the rumours were getting inescapable, they don't want people to be disappointed in their E3 presentation and they want to let the people know that it's not releasing soon .Why tell the general public it exists this soon and take the risk of current system sales slowing down because people just might wait it out?
The thing here is that this seems to be a much more significant change than most other slim updates of consoles, due to the added 4K capability and possible UHD Blu-ray support.
That's a great looking router though.I think I prefer the look of the fat one. Something about the blocky appearance rubs me the wrong way, reminds me of a router or something.
Edit:
is what I'm thinking ofCode:
You hoarders. :3 jkLOL, WUT???!
I have 2.5TB on my X1, it's 70% full.
I have 3.5TB in my gaming PC and only about 400GB left (0.4TB left)
$450?
Srsly MS?
Good thing that's not what the price is

This is why the leakers suck. Not only was the surprise ruined, there's now these tangents that are based on incomplete information and spread around too fast.Good thing that's not what the price is
Did we confirm if it has a uhd bluray player or is it just 4k playback via stream?
We won't know till tomorrow now (or 17 hours or so anyway)

Do we know if it has a 4K Blu Ray drive or just 4K video playback? I really cannot see this being more expensive than the existing model, at least not a hypothetical 500GB/1TB version.
