No Dreams, No Indie Games and that let me down me a good deal.

In for most everything else short of the Bend game, it did not look that interesting.

I think this show retroactively makes last year's conference worse, mostly in that it lacked Shenmue 3.

If we went back in time and said that one year after the huge Shenmue 3 announcement that the game wouldn't even be mentioned, it might tempur the excitement.

But.. still, some really solid looking games in the pipeline that look genuinely different.

Although I'm not really impressed with the motorcycle zombie game. First, zombie games are so damn done to hell... and it looked kinda interesting in the initial trailer, then they showed the gameplay and I really felt meh about. I have very little interest in playing a game where I awkwardly ride a motorcycle to some zone, only to be attacked by 1,000 zombies, and I just hold down the shoot button until I kill them all while backing up.

I was genuinely interested in it, and then really turned off quickly.

still.... cant take away from the straight fire of this show one after another.

Disappointing.
GoW no longer feels like GoW game. Don't care about the Ride to Hell looking game or Horizon. Even though the Crash Skylanders was leaked, still disappointed when they confirmed it on stage. And I'm not interested in VR so half of the conference bored me/ was a waste of time.

On the bright side, the things that saved the conference from being shit was the Spiderman game, David Cage game, and the release date of The Last Guardian.

People saying the conference was not the best showing we've seen this year.

Sorry, but specs for a system that's a year and half away, was better./s

But seriously, this conference was lit.
Dat Kojima game left me scratching my head with the flying people. :0
And Resident Evil looks 7 looks so different in a good way. But I cant imagine BOW in the game. Felt almost supernatural like. Very excited.

Overall, I'd give the conference a 7/10. The games shown were great, and the pacing was excellent -- they've finally figured out how to get straight to the point with their stuff. The lack of Sucker Punch, third-parties, and indie developers hurt them. It's telling that they gave next to no attention to Gran Turismo Sport -- you're starting to get the feeling that the bosses at Sony realize it's going to need a miracle to avoid being a massive disappointment.

It looked great because they showed games coming out for the next couple years. No real release dates was the sore point for me. Some good moments but I like to see what will be released in the coming months.

Decent conference. Spider-Man and Horizon: Zero Dawn are the only games I'm really hyped for though. Everything else was decent at best, and a lot of things that could have been promising (Death Stranding, looking at you) didn't show enough to keep me interested.

E3 has been pretty lackluster overall so far. Just hoping Zelda is super good at this point.

We are lucky if we get last year's sony's e3 games by next e3. These games are even father away. Looks like another lean year for AAA exclusives.

Felt like a much more subdued show. Still a lot of bangers, but i sort of missed stuff like the indie showcase reels, or random stuff like the Tim Schaffer remaster announcements. Aside from EA pretty much all the conferences were like this for me. Solid across the board but nothing mind bending.
Yeah, I think they’ll do that at PSX from now on. The big stage, the live Orchestra, this is a showcase for the AAA, and largely, Sony’s IP took center stage. It was a very strong PS-centric conference, certainly one of Sony’s best. Just didn’t match the hype of last year, which IMO is impossible, PS is the home of third party after all. But Sony’s WWS put up a fine fight today, only a conference with ND can stand up to last year though.

I’m sorry for guys wanting another Crash game, but when I heard remasters, I kinda just had a sigh of relief, I just don’t care for that game to come back in any meaningful way without ND.

Days gone doesn't look appealing at all.

Horizon seems like a purchase for me.

FFXV VR looks to be a step brother of Dirge of Cerberus

The Crash reveal was amazing for all the right reasons

Spiderman looks promising

God of War should have Amon Amarth as the soundtrack

The Last Guardian doesn't look fun to play, but I'm happy it's happening

Kojima's game looks like as a friend put it: "and that kojima game.. like after all these years of being trapped on mgs
think he's just snapped lol
he's just going to put every single video game idea he's had since after mgs1
into one game"

6/10

Man I liked this conference but I thought nether realm would of been there with injustice 2 and tell us when we are getting a new firmware update for ps4

Sony: B
Microsoft: C-
EA: D-
Bethesda: D
Ubisoft: C-

Overall very underwhelming E3 although Sony and a very solid conference. Looking forward to seeing Zelda tomorrow. Hope it blows us away.

The Crash remaster announcement was the highlight of the night for me, That zombie game while it could be pretty good doesn't peak my interest. Overall a good conference, but I am not blown away either.

Thought it was boring outside of horizon and gow, but one is next year and the other who knows when. What is Sucker Punch up to?

Didnt really feel any of the conferences, Titanfall 2 is only thing I'm hyped for this year (unless cuphead and below actually come out? lol).

Good stuff but I can't help but be disappointed we didn't see anything from Rockstar after all those rumors and supposed reliable sources.

Pretty disappointed. Only interested in Horizon and The Last Guardian. Spiderman also interests me, but I want to see how the game will play.

4/10 to me, absolutely nothing new got me hyped.

Wow I didnt expect such a positive reception from this conference. I thought it was pretty mediocre..

Yeah, seeing page after page of people going "9.5 out of 10 - amazing!" makes me feel like I'm in the Twilight Zone. It wasn't bad by any means, but there was too much stuff without real gameplay or a release date. I'm interested in some of this stuff, but there's too much vagueness.

Not a Sony fan, but really nice show with some awesome games. At least they tried to cater to their current player base.

Not sure some of those shown VR games will make it in those forms, but fingers crossed for you guys.
Thank you for your concern.

I was very impressed by the conference. Not like last year's, but a solid 8 in my book.

lol

that was the HUGE CONFERENCE that the insiders hyped to heavens?

i mean, it was nice, but jesus

Maybe that's why I felt it was underwhelming. Wasn't there someone on here that was leaking info for the other conferences but said Sony's was too good to leak? That had me fucking hyped for some shit to go down and then it was a conference on par with Microsoft's.

Really enjoyed the conference 9/10 for me.

THE GOOD
+ GoW (Gameplay that got me excited even though I'm not really a GoW fan)
+ Horizon: Zero (Fantastically unique world to explore, wonderful visuals and animation)
+ Death Stranding (Wow, just wow. I remember Norman Reedus saying he would love to work with Kojima, but man I never would have believed it would come together on his first project. Absolutely befuddling, beautifully disturbing trailer. And that Kojima entrance, my goodness)
+ Detriot (I have always enjoyed Quantic Dream games and this looks like their best yet)
+ Spider-man (Insomniac games! Need I say more?)
+ Resident Evil VII (Out of nowhere, looks to revamp the series ala 4 as someone else mentioned)

THE BAD
- Days Gone (Thematic trailer seemed to set the tone well, but the gameplay didn't seem to have the weight they were hoping for to carry the end of the conference. I'm tired of zombies but if done right I'll do it again)
- VR "experience" gimmicky tech demos (The FFXV waifu, Prompto experience looked so haphazardly thrown together)
- No footage of Crash remaster. Subbing it in with Skylanders was a faus paux in my opinion.

Overall, great pacing, great show, really enjoyed it. Hard to follow after last year but they did it well. Did I miss anything?

Some really cool games. The live orchestra was awesome, but the conference seemed short, especially compared to Ubi. No Persona was a bummer.

That's not really surprising since they didn't really have anyone show up besides Layden, House, and Kojima.

Though I would have liked an appearance by Shu and Adam, it could have been an extra 10 minutes. Didn't take away from the conference though.

Solid conference that was well paced, but unusually short. Perhaps the Neo was indeed supposed to be there but was removed. Days didn't look like a game to end on. However, WHERE THE FUCK WAS RDR?!

I'll give it a 8.5 out of 10. Now I look forward to Nintendo for Zelda.

I think the presentation, the overall production values of the conference did a lot for the content shown at the conference.

They took what Nintendo did in 2011 with the zelda orchestra and did it better alongside that stage . Really classy. Now I would have liked more gameplay but the gameplay that was there looked great so yeah.

What would have been a good conference became great to amazing to a lot of people because of the presentation.
